fd fr thught是一個習(xí)語,本意指的是 “smething that shuld be thught abut r cnsidered carefully”,意指“需要認(rèn)真考慮的事情”。
2. Can yu guess which fridge belngs t which persn? belng t sb.: t be wned by sb. belng t sth.: t be a member f sth. r t be a part f sth.

4. I ften end up saving part f my meal fr the next day. end up: t find yurself in a place r situatin that yu did nt intend r expect t be in 最終成為,最后處于 end up + ding sth. / adj. eg I ended up ding all the wrk myself. If he carries n driving like that, he’ll end up dead.
【拓展】end in: t have sth. as a result 以…… 結(jié)尾eg The wrd I’m thinking f ends in ‘-us’.
【語境應(yīng)用】用end in和end up翻譯句子。
Their lng struggle ended in failure.
If yu g n like this yu’ll end up in prisn.
5. Cking tgether gives us a chance t relax and catch up n each ther’s days. catch up (n): t spend time finding ut what has been happening while yu have been away r during the time yu have nt seen smene 事后得到關(guān)于……的消息 eg Cme ver tmrrw and we can catch up.
【拓展】 catch up n: 補(bǔ)做,趕做 catch up in: 沉湎于,卷入 catch up with: 趕上,追上;最終查到 eg I have a lt f wrk t catch up n. Inncent (無辜的) passers-by were caught up in the rits (暴亂). After missing a term thrugh illness he had t wrk hard t catch up with the thers.
6. When I get back hme, there’s nthing mre satisfying than a big meat dinner. Paraphrase: When I get back hme, a big meat dinner is the thing that I like best. eg There is n better chice than this ne at the mment.
I can’t agree with yu mre. He culdn’t have dne better. n, never, nthing+比較級 This culd give her n greater pleasure.

8. I still dn’t think that anything can beat my mum’s hmemade sausages, thugh.
I still think that anything can nt beat …。 eg I dn’t believe he can slve it. =I believe he cannt slve it.
After learning this unit, yu must have sme basic knwledge abut healthy eating. Write dwn yu wn eating habits, recheck them and imprve them if necessary.
