Ka chia-yu’s jurney int music began at the age f 3, and he started vilin lessns at 6 and pian at 10. Accrding t Ka, Taiwan desn’t have graded exams fr music educatin as the mainland des. Instead, children frm age 8 can chse gvernment-rganized exams, which give access t specialized music classes at schl.
“I entered the music prgram in the 3rd grade thrugh the exam. Students frm this prgram have additinal cursewrk related t music thery,” Ka tld Teens. In high schl, he still signed up fr the music class, which allwed him t skip ther subjects like math t devte mre hurs t music curses.
