1. between prep. 在……之間
【點(diǎn)撥】between主要指兩者之間，其賓語(yǔ)往往是表示兩者的名詞或代詞，或者是由and連接的兩個(gè)人或物，即常用短語(yǔ)為，“在……和……之間”。如：
①Ga Yan’s in frnt f Daming and between Zha Feng and Li Min.
高燕在大明的前面，趙峰和李敏中間。
②Wh is between Mike and Lucy?
誰(shuí)在邁克和露西中間？
【注意】amng一般用于三者或三者以上，意為“在……之間”，其賓語(yǔ)通常是一個(gè)表示籠統(tǒng)數(shù)量或具有復(fù)數(shù)或集合意義的名詞或代詞。如：
Thse animals are amng the trees.
那些動(dòng)物在樹(shù)林中。
【延伸】下列情況下，between可用于三者或三者以上：
（1）當(dāng)兩個(gè)以上的人或物用and連接時(shí)。如：
between A, B and C在A、B、C之間
（2）涉及事物之間的區(qū)別或各國(guó)之間的關(guān)系時(shí)。如：
the difference between the three f them

各國(guó)之間的關(guān)系
2. middle n. 中間；中央
【點(diǎn)撥】in the middle f意為“在……的中間”，其近義短語(yǔ)是in the centre f。如：
In the middle f the schl is a big play-grund.
學(xué)校的中央是一個(gè)大操場(chǎng)。
【延伸】middle常構(gòu)成短語(yǔ)：middle schl，意為“中學(xué)”。如：
She is a student in a middle schl.
她是一名中學(xué)生。
3. building n. 建筑物
【點(diǎn)撥】building是名詞，意為“建筑物”。如：
Thse wrkers can build tall buildings.
那些工人會(huì)建造高樓。
【延伸】builder n. 建筑工人；建筑公司。如：
The builders are wrking hard.
建筑工人們正努力工作。
【注意】hall作“大樓”講時(shí)，可與building互換。
4. behind prep. 在……后面
【點(diǎn)撥】behind作介詞時(shí)，意為“在……后面”。如：
There is a garden behind my huse.
我家房子后面有個(gè)花園。

1. In the middle f the schl is a big playgrund.
學(xué)校的中央是一個(gè)大操場(chǎng)。
【點(diǎn)撥】in the middle f意為“在……中間/中央”，此處middle為名詞，意為“中間；中央”。如：
①There is a bat in the middle f the lake.
湖中央有條船。
②Tny was standing in the middle f the rm.
托尼正站在房間中央。
【延伸】middle也可作形容詞，意為“中間的；中央的”。如：
He wears his ring n his middle finger.
他將戒指戴在中指上。
2. The library is n the left f the play-grund near the schl gate.
圖書(shū)館在操場(chǎng)左側(cè)學(xué)校大門(mén)附近。
【點(diǎn)撥】（1）n the left f意為“在……的左邊”。英語(yǔ)中表示方位的介詞短語(yǔ)有：n the right f在……的右邊；in the middle f在……的中間；在……和……之間；in frnt f在……的前面。
（2）near為介詞，意為“靠近；接近；在……旁邊”。如：
The park is near the statin.
這個(gè)公園在車(chē)站附近。
（3）gate是名詞，意為“大門(mén)”，經(jīng)常和介詞at連用，at the gate表示“在大門(mén)口”。如：
Please wait fr me at the schl gate.
請(qǐng)?jiān)趯W(xué)校大門(mén)口等我。
3. Between this building and the dining hall is the classrm building with twenty-fur classrms.
這幢樓和餐廳之間是一幢有24間教室的教學(xué)樓。
【點(diǎn)撥】（1）意為“在……和……之間”，指在兩者之間，連接名詞或代詞。其中between為介詞，意為“在……之間”。如：
Lily sits between Lucy and me.
莉莉坐在我和露西之間。
【注意】連接代詞時(shí)，代詞須用賓格形式。
（2）with作介詞時(shí)，意為“帶有；具有”，with twenty-fur classrms是介詞短語(yǔ)作后置定語(yǔ)。如：
①M(fèi)r Green has a big huse with a beautiful garden.
格林先生有一棟帶有漂亮花園的大房子。
②Betty is the girl with lng hair.
貝蒂就是那個(gè)留著長(zhǎng)發(fā)的女孩。
【延伸】with引導(dǎo)的介詞短語(yǔ)還可以作狀語(yǔ)，表示伴隨狀態(tài)。如：
She always talks t thers with a smile n her face.
她總是面帶微笑和別人講話。教學(xué)目標(biāo)
