Check the homework. 2. Show the class some pictures and review the words of clothes and colour by the following conversation.               A: What clothes is this?B: It’s a/an…A: What colour is it?B: It’s…A: Can you wear it?B: No, I can’t./Yes, I look nice in it.A: Who can wear it, a man or a woman?B: A man/A woman.       Step 2  Presentation  1. Show the class some pictures and teach the new words world, traditional, sari, India, uniform, pretty and the phrases look so pretty, in black and white.       sari from India /?sɑ?r?/    /??nd??/      n.莎麗   印度                traditional clothes/tr??d???nl/ adj.傳統(tǒng)的;慣例的 uniform /?ju?n?f??m/ n.制服 Teacher says: Today we learn Clothes around the World.      2. Get the students to remember the new words and phrases.Step 3  DiscussionGet the class to discuss the following questions. Then give the answers.Do all people wear uniforms for work?Can men wear skirts?Do people wear traditional clothes in your hometown (在你的家鄉(xiāng))?Do you wear a uniform for school?Step 4  Listening and numberingPlay the recording for the class to listen and number the following pictures.Answers: (自左到右,自上而下) 4, 1 6, 2 5, 3Step 5  Reading and answering Get the class to read the passage and answer the following questions.1. These women look so pretty in black and white.這些女士穿著黑白相間的衣服看起來很漂亮。 辨析:prettybeautiful pretty側(cè)重“嬌小的”,是一種優(yōu)雅的美,指女性時(shí)含有 溫柔,纖巧之意;用于小孩時(shí),指漂亮的,可愛的;用于事物時(shí),指美好的。 She looks very pretty in that skirt.她穿著那條短裙看起來很漂亮。 beautiful是普通用詞,比pretty的語氣強(qiáng),側(cè)重于溫柔和優(yōu)美,一般用來形容女子、兒童或景色。 That’s a beautiful country.那是個(gè)美麗的國度。 Step 12  Homework1.
