Today, we are going to learn:Lesson 44:Georgia Plays Basketball(二)出示學習目標 過渡語:First ,let’s read the learning goals together.1.我要掌握單詞和短語:nobody,return,continue---;play against,continue doing/to do…---2.通過學習,我能夠用英語描述自己或他人。過渡語:I believe everyone can achieve your goal? (5)She wants to play basketball in the Olympics.探究三:Language Points 1.nobody為復合不定代詞,意為“沒有人”,相當于no one,它只可指人。nobody作主語時,謂語動詞用單數(shù)第三人稱形式。Nobody knows about it.沒有人了解這件事。2.else意為“別的;其他的,另外,其他”。常用在something,anything,somebody,anybody,nobody,everything等不定代詞,what,who等疑問代詞或little,much,all等代詞的后面。I don’t have anything else to do.我沒有其他的事情可做。What else would you like?你還想要點兒別的什么東西嗎?3.seven and a half years意為 “7年半”,相當于seven years and a half。英語中,如果要表達“……半”時,有兩種方法,即:“基數(shù)詞+and+a half+名詞復數(shù)”和“基數(shù)詞+名詞復數(shù)+and+a half(當基數(shù)詞為one時,名詞用單數(shù))”。two and a half hours=two hours and a half兩個半小時 four and a half kilos=four kilos and a half 4.5千克4.return的用法:(1)用作不及物動詞,意為“返回”,相當于go/get back。表示“返回某地”用return to sp.。Mr.White will return to London next week.懷特先生下周要返回倫敦。(2)用作及物動詞,意為“歸還”,相當于give…back。If you haven’t brought your ruler,you can use mine.But please return it soon.如果你沒帶尺子,你可以用我的。但請盡快歸還。(3)用作及物動詞,意為“回應,回報”She phoned him several times, but he was too busy to return her call.她給他打了幾次電話,但是他太忙,不能給她回電話。(4)名詞“歸來;返回”We are looking forward to the return of spring.我們期待著春天的歸來。(5)名詞“回報”Can I buy your lunch in return for your help? 感謝你幫忙,我請你吃午飯好嗎?5.詢問職業(yè)的句型:(1)What is one's job? (2)What do/does +主語+do? (3)What+be+主語?
