Key vocabulary: college, education, medicine, university, London, article, send...an engineer, a race car driver, take singing lessons, study education, go to a cooking school, study medicine, write articles, send to.2. Key sentences:a. What do you want to be when you grow up?b. How are you going to do that?c. Where are you going to work?d. When are you going to start?教學難點: The usage of the future tense with be going to be/ do. 教學過程(表格描述)教學環(huán)節(jié)主要教學活動設置意圖Step 1Lead-in(PPT 3-9)Play a guessing game and review the words of  jobs. Review the grammar and sentence patterns.Look at the picture and have a pair work to practice the patents.設計這個猜謎游戲復習本單元所學的表示職業(yè)的詞匯,復習本節(jié)課的語法。該活動旨在為語法講解做鋪墊。Step 2Grammar Focus(PPT 10-17)1. Learn the grammar focus and work on Grammar Focus.2. Ask students to read the sentences in this part and pay attention to the grammar be going to. 3. Explain rules of the future and practice them.總結這些句子的特點并講解一般將來時的特殊疑問句形式、一般疑問句形式等變化規(guī)則。Step 3Practice (PPT 18-22)Work on 3a,3b,3c. 1. Read the instructions to students. Make them know the task in 3a.2. Ask Ss to complete the match work in 3a on their own. Match what these people want to do with what they are going to do. 3. Call some Ss to present their answers.4. Check the answers with Ss.5. Call Ss' attention to the conversation in 3b.6. Make Ss look through the content and make sure they know what they are talking about. 7. Ask Ss to finish the blanks individually.8. Choose one student to give the answers.9. Check the answers with Ss.10. Ask Ss to work in pairs to practice the conversation.11. Point out the sample conversation in the box. Ask two Ss to read it to the class.12. Ss complete the chart. Write down the results.13. Ss work in pairs. Discuss it with the partner according to the sample conversation and what you wrote down just now.14. Encourage some pairs to present their conversations in the class.通過連線、填空、對話等練習一般將來時。Step 4    Exercises (PPT 23-26)Do some exercises to practice the grammar.  通過詞形填空、句型轉換、連詞成句以及完成句子等形式練習所學的語法。Step 5Homework(PPT 27)1. Make sentences with be going to. 2. Make a survey of your friends, relatives, or classmates, write a report about their dream jobs. (50words)   設計該作業(yè)主要以寫報告的語篇形式練習所學的語法。以對本單元所學語法的綜合運用。板書設計Unit 6 Im going to study computer science.Section A (Grammar Focus-3c)1. What do you want to be when you grow up?2. How are you going to do that?3. Where are you going to work?4. When are you going to start?I amHe/She/It is        going todo   We/You/They are  There is/are going to be...教學反思本單元是練習 be going to+ be/ do表達將來時,通過語法講解和練習熟練運用該語法。 熟練運用be going to+ be/ do的特殊疑問句形式。
