Structure:-Can you tell me where there's...?-Of course...教學(xué)難點(diǎn):Learn to ask for information politely.    教學(xué)過程(表格描述)教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)主要教學(xué)活動(dòng)設(shè)置意圖Step 1Warming-up(PPT 3-7)1.Show Ss some pictures and ask them to have a free talk.   What qualities are important for each place?2. Let Ss match the adjectives with their opposites. Then check answers and read them.通過自由討論,引出一些形容詞??疾閷W(xué)生是否能運(yùn)用形容詞表達(dá)場(chǎng)所的特點(diǎn)。Step 2Lead-in(PPT 8-11)1. Ask Ss to work in pairs to talk about the places in the city, using the adjectives.According to the picture, make sentences with some adjectives. 2. Practice the conversations and lead in 1a. 談?wù)撘粋€(gè)場(chǎng)所并且用所給的形容詞表達(dá)這些場(chǎng)所的性質(zhì)和特點(diǎn)。Step 3 Presentation(PPT 12-14)Work on 1a. 1. Make Ss read the words of the places, then ask : What qualities are important for each place? 2. Ask them to write the words from the box next to each place. Write the most important words first.3. Check answers in class.Work on 1b. Our city has many places.What do you think of them?Make Ss talk about the places in your city using the words in 1a. Then call some pairs to present in class.練習(xí)表達(dá)地點(diǎn)和場(chǎng)所的特點(diǎn)、質(zhì)量等形容詞。Step 4Listening(PPT 15-20)Work on 1c. 1. Point to the picture and ask what is happening.2. Ask Ss to guess and discuss.3. Play the tape for the first time for Ss to listen and then complete the sentences.Work on 1d. Play again. Invite two Ss to read the example in 1e . Ask the students to read them.解決本節(jié)課的難點(diǎn)。Step 7Exercises(PPT 30-32)Show some exercises to practice the key words, the target language and key sentences. 通過填單詞、完成句子等形式練習(xí)所學(xué)的重點(diǎn)詞匯和句。Step 8Homework(PPT 33)Listen to the listening materials again and read after them.熟練掌握聽力材料。板書設(shè)計(jì)Unit 3 Could you please tell me where the restrooms are?Section B (1a-1e)in-words: inexpensive, indirect, informal…un-words: uncrowded, unhappy, unfair…-Can you tell me where there's a good place to eat?-Of course.What kind of food do you like?教學(xué)反思1.本節(jié)聽說課以委婉語氣禮貌的詢問某個(gè)場(chǎng)所的地點(diǎn),談?wù)撃硞€(gè)場(chǎng)所的特點(diǎn)為聽力素材。2. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在口語練習(xí)中熟練地運(yùn)用Could you please以便為下文2b的課文打好基礎(chǔ)。
