1. ck 作動詞，意為“烹調(diào)；煮” 通常媽媽給我們做晚飯。 My mther usually cks fr us. 【拓展】作名詞, 意為“廚師”。 我叔叔是一位很棒的廚師。 My uncle is a great ck.
2. study 作“學(xué)習(xí)”講時，是不及物動詞。 他們正在為英語考試而學(xué)習(xí)。 They are studying fr the English test.
3. Hw’s it ging? 情況怎么樣？ Hw’s …? 句型在問候語中用來詢問對方 的情況。
答語常為：Great. / Pretty gd. /Nt bad./ Just s-s. 等。 你的學(xué)習(xí)情況如何？ Hw’s it ging with yur study? 【拓展】 表達(dá)問候還可以用 Hw are yu? 進(jìn)行詢問，答語常為“Fine, thank yu.”。 這兩句話的重點(diǎn)不在于詢問，而在于問 候或打招呼。
4. Sunds like yu’re having a gd time. 聽起來你玩得好開心。這是一個省略句，相當(dāng)于 It sunds like yu’re …。英語It sunds like …與It sunds …句型近似，都表示“聽起來……；聽上去……”。這種省略的用法十分口語化，在日常英語會話中經(jīng)常聽到。例如：
(It) Sunds like he’s all right nw.聽上去他現(xiàn)在病已經(jīng)好了。(It) Sunds like yu had a gd time n yur trip. 聽起來你旅行玩得很開心。
