Sara Braden desn’t have time t lse things. She’s a wrking mm with a lt mre hbbies than her friends, and when she misplaces her keys r leaves her purse at a restaurant, she becmes annyed and impatient. “It impacts me greatly,” says Braden, 35, a Washingtn fficer.

“Ancient peple knew really well hw t apply the pwer f nature t technical cnsideratins,”Li said, giving the example f Qianjin’e, ne f the mst famus ancient water cnservatin prjects in Luyang, Henan. In rder t lead the river int the city fr irrigatin (灌溉) in ancient Luyang, the fficials built a canal branch by separating a nrthwest-sutheast river. Hwever, the canal water wasn't enugh t supprt the citizens in dry seasns. T slve that, n the nrthern side f the canal branch, the fficials built a reservir (水庫) and a channel t lead the water t the canal branch, where the waterways wuld cnverge and flw tgether t the city.
In Cmmentary n the Water Classics, a ttal f 2, 800 cities are recrded with details. Still, the prcess f recreatin takes much effrt. After ding a lt f text analysis and fieldwrk, the team has gradually created the mdel with 3D mdelling sftware based n repeated deductins (推論).
