Unit 2 How often do you exercise?教學設計   Section A 1a2cStep1 Warming-up T:  “Hello! Every one! Last lesson we talked about vacations. Now toady, lets talk about our weekends. How was your last weekend? What did you do last weekend? (設計意圖:因為上一個單元剛剛學過用過去式談論假期的活動,那么我設計的前兩個問題是承上啟下的復習內容,通過學生回答上的周末的活動,一是為了復習有關活動的詞組為本課做鋪墊,因為本課也是練習活動的詞組,二是較自然地引出本課的目標語:What do you usually do on weekends?  Step 2   New phrases presentation Teacher and students:  ask and answer:T: what do you usually do on weekends?S: I usually read books/go shopping/exercise/watch TV……..(設計這個問題的目的一:是了解學生現(xiàn)有已經掌握了哪些詞組,第二個也是引出本課的重點詞組。學生會把本課的有些詞組說出來,還有些新的詞組他們說不出來,我需要引出下一個任務)T: Till now I know what you do on weekends. I have some friends. Do you want to know what they usually do on weekends?S: Yes.T: Open your book. Look at the picture in page 9. Look at the boy (point to picture c) What does he usually do on weekends?S: Exercise.Introduce the other phrases what they dont know.(用這個方法把學生沒有說到的或不知道的新詞組介紹出來,用書上的圖片會更加直觀地讓學生明白新詞組的漢語意思)Step3Complete 1a Make a list of the weekend activities.(知道了漢語意思之后,完成1a.)Read all the activities. (將新學的詞組讀得朗朗上口)Practice the new activities. I design a game. Let ss say the phrase as quickly as possible.(設計這個搶答詞組的活動目的是鞏固剛學過的新詞組。為下面的聽力和對話做鋪墊)Step4. Present new words and target language. Pre--listening (聽前的準備活動,讓學生了解這幾個頻度副詞的含義和位置即可)T : I have known what you usually do on weekends. Do you want to know what I usually do on weekends? Lets see what I usually do on weekends.And say:  I always read books.         I usually watch TV.         I often exercise.          I sometimes shop.         I hardly ever do housework.         I never go to the movies.(設計這個頻度副詞的圖表和他們所指的百分比的比率,學生們會一目了然地看懂這幾個頻度副詞的漢語意思。圖表幫助孩子理解頻度副詞的含義。接下來我用這些頻度副詞來表述我的周末活動,目的是讓學生清楚這些頻度副詞在句中的位置和用法。讓學生對頻度副詞有個初步的感知)Read all the adverbs of frequency.(讀熟頻度副詞為下面的聽力做鋪墊)Step 5.  Practice listening 1b Lead in :Teacher will say: “Listen! Some students are talking about what they do on weekends. You listen to the tape carefully and write down their weekends activities in 1b.(聽力活動也是一個以聽力的形式進行的輸入活動。能聽出來頻度副詞所對應的詞組就可以)Check their answers after listening.Step6   Practice speaking   (work in pairs)Lead in: Teacher asks one student:T: What do you do on weekends?S: I usually watch TV.T: Do you go shopping?S: Yes, I often go shopping. /No, I never go shopping.The teacher asks another student to give them some examples. And the teacher asks the students to work in pairs like this to practice the conversation in 1c.e.g.A: What do you do on weekends?B: I usually/ often/sometimes……….A: Do you play sports/go shopping/read books/ watch TV?B: Yes. I often/sometimes/usually/………   No, I never /hardly ever .(這是的兩人一組的對話活動,以說的形式將所學的詞組和頻度副詞和目標語輸出)Step 7 Work in pairsTeacher asks one student: T: What does your father do on weekends?S: He often reads books.T: Does he go shopping?S: No, he never goes shopping.The teacher asks students to ask their partners about what their parents do on weekends. (這一活動目的在練習下第三人稱)Step 8 另一個聽力任務鏈。(2a2c)Pre listening2a   leading in Lets see how often I do the following activities activityMon Tue Wes Thu Fri Sat Sun How oftenread books alwaysgo to the movies×××××××neverwatch TVevery dayshop       once a weekdrink coffee      twice a week exercise    three times a week Teacher say: Through this chart. Do you know? How often do I read books/exercise/drink coffee/shop?The teacher answer: I always read books. I never go to the movies. I watch TV every day. I shop once a week. I drink coffee twice a week. I exercise three times a week.(出示這個表格是想讓學生一目了然地明白how often 是問多久一次的,是提問頻率副詞的,還有就是用how often 提問怎么回答,可以用頻度副詞來回答,還可以回答單位時間內幾次。這只是個讓學生初步感知的過程,讓學生大概明白How often是什么含義以及它的回答語once a week/ twice a week /three times a week/every day漢語是什么含義就可以。)Step 9 listening practice 2a Leading in Teacher asks students to look at the picture. And ask some questions to help students to understand the listening clearly.Question1. What is the boys name?Question2. What question is the reporter asking Cheng Tao?Question3.What is Cheng Taos answer?Question4 Guess what other activities does Cheng Tao do?(這幾個問題的提出.目的時是通過對圖片的觀察來預測聽力的內容,給出聽力的背景。讓學生清楚要聽的大概是什么,通過說程濤的活動是復習前面學過的詞組,也是對要聽的聽力做鋪墊。)Teacher asks to listen to the tape. Pay more attention to the activities and number them (1----5). Check their answers. Ask ss to read the activities in order.(聽懂后核對答案,并要求學生按照正確的順序讀出)Listen again. This time lets listen how often Cheng Tao does these activities.Play the tape again. And match the activities in 2a with how often Cheng Tao does. And check their answers.Step 10  Do a survey (聽后練習,鞏固所學的目標語) Activities How often watch TV  every day use the internet once a week read English books …………..go to the movies …………..exercise ……………Do a survey using the chart above. Use the following sentences:A: How often do you watch TV/read books/exercise/go to the movies?B: I watch TV every day/once a week/ twice a month……….A: Whats your favorite program?B: Animal World.A: How often do you watch it?B: I watch it twice a week/……..After doing this survey , you must choose one of your group to report to the class.You can report like this :Zhang Han watches TV every day.  His favorite program is Animal World. He watches it twice a week.Choose :which group is the best. And give them the prizes.(設計調查活動。在調查中學生會用到所給句型,一是為了操練和鞏固目標語,二是為了提供一個真實的英語環(huán)境,讓學生們在英語中做事。提高他們的綜合語言運用能力。)
