A summary f the rules
在一個英語句子中,修飾某一 1 詞或 2 詞的從句叫做定語從句,其作用相當(dāng)于形容詞,所以也稱作形容詞性從句。由 3 或 4 引導(dǎo),被修飾的名詞或代詞叫做 5 詞。關(guān)于這一從句有多條規(guī)則需要記憶。 關(guān)系代詞在定語從句中作的成分是 6 、 7 。作 8 時,其謂語動詞的單復(fù)數(shù)與先行詞保持一致;作 9 時可以省略,但前面有 10 詞時,不能省略。
只能指人的關(guān)系代詞有 11 (作主語或賓語)、 12 (作賓語)。 只能指物的關(guān)系代詞有 13 (作主語或賓語)。 還有一個所有格關(guān)系代詞是 14 (意指my, his, their…,與其它名詞一起作主語或賓語)。 既能指人又能指物的關(guān)系代詞有 15 (作主語或賓語)、 16 。
在有非限定性定語從句的句子中,要用 17 號把定語從句分開,另外,非限定性定語從句不能用關(guān)系代詞 18 ,指人要用 19 和 20 ,指物要用 21 。有時候,非限定性定語從句可以修飾一個句子,叫 22 ,只能用關(guān)系代詞23 。 “介詞+關(guān)系代詞”也可以引導(dǎo)的定語從句,要注意介詞之后不能用關(guān)系代詞 24 、 25 。 關(guān)系副詞有 26 , 27 和 28 。在定語從句中作的成分是狀語,可分為時間狀語、地點狀語和原因狀語,可以用 29 替換。
在指物的不定代詞all, everything, anything, nthing, smething 之后要用關(guān)系代詞 30 。 由形容詞最高級、序數(shù)詞、nly、very (adj.正好是;恰恰是)修飾的現(xiàn)行詞之后用關(guān)系代詞 31 。 在既有人又有物的并列先行詞后用關(guān)系代詞 32 。 在anyne、thse(指人時)之后用關(guān)系代詞 33 。
“ 34 ”也可充當(dāng)關(guān)系代詞,有兩種情況: (1)置于句首代表先行句,而先行句后置,如 As we knw, he is an hnest by. (2)在the same … as、such … as結(jié)構(gòu)中代替關(guān)系代詞,如 It is such a gd bk as many students want t read.
