
選詞填空對于眾多考生而言,有一定的難度。命題人選擇一篇長度在230個單詞左右的文章,從中挖去10個單詞,文章后面提供10或12個備選項,要求考生選擇合適的選項填入文章,使整篇文章能夠通順、流暢。選詞填空要求考生既要看懂文章的大意,又要認(rèn)識并了解所列單詞的詞性和基本搭配。該部分測試重點在于把握文章的結(jié)構(gòu),主要考查考生對諸如:連貫性、一致性、邏輯關(guān)系等語篇、語段整體特征以及單詞在實際語境中運用的理解,即要求考生在理解全文的基礎(chǔ)上弄清文章的宏觀結(jié)構(gòu)并具體細(xì)化到對每個單詞的微觀理解上面。其目的是測試學(xué)生綜合運用語言的能力,考查學(xué)生對文章的理解能力以及運用詞匯和語法結(jié)構(gòu)的能力。
選詞填空和完形填空的區(qū)別
1. 完形填空每題都是四選一,選詞填空第一題要十選一,難度加大;2. 完形填空每題的四個選項都是統(tǒng)一的詞性,只需要辨析詞義、搭配就基本可以作答,而選詞填空的十個選項有多個詞性,解題時需要同時判斷詞性和詞義,難度加大;3. 完形填空每題的四個選項往往都是統(tǒng)一時態(tài),統(tǒng)一形式,而在選詞填空中會涉及選項的動詞時態(tài)、第三人稱單數(shù)形式、被動主動語態(tài),名詞的單復(fù)數(shù)等的辨析,難度加大。
1.在拿到題目后,不要急于看文章,首先對備選的詞匯研究幾遍,對詞性作簡單的標(biāo)記
對備選的詞匯進(jìn)行研究、對詞性作簡單的標(biāo)記,即詞性分類。名詞n.?動詞v.,形容詞adj.?副詞adv.連詞cnj.代詞prn.數(shù)詞num冠詞art.?介詞prep.同時理解詞義。
2.通讀全文,語義完整、適用、合乎邏輯是做好填詞的前提。通過上、下文的句子,充分理解短文的內(nèi)容,注意發(fā)現(xiàn)固定搭配關(guān)系,憑借語感積極主動地猜測空格中所缺的信息,根據(jù)需要去備選詞匯中尋找匹配的答案。
3.在選定單詞后,不要輕率地填入。在填詞過程中,需要瞻前顧后,既要符合本句的含義,又要保證句式結(jié)構(gòu)的正確。
1)當(dāng)選定名詞.時,考慮其單復(fù)數(shù)形式,名詞(單復(fù)數(shù))所有格及其形容詞形式等
例如:match-matches, friend-friend's/friends'。其他還要考慮名詞是否需要變成形容詞,例如:sun-sunny, use-useful/useless/used, danger-dangerus;
2)?當(dāng)選定v動詞時,?考慮其時態(tài),語態(tài),非謂語動詞(動詞不定式- t d, 現(xiàn)在分詞-ding, 過去分詞-dne),形式及固定搭配。?

記憶順口溜:空前空后要注意,“名詞”單復(fù)數(shù)要牢記,還有 's 不能棄,“動詞”注意要變形,“形副”注意要用三種級,要填“數(shù)詞”請留意,千萬別忘 “基” 和“序”,填入“代詞”需慎重,五格變化要謹(jǐn)記。
4. 完成填詞后,應(yīng)通讀全文,復(fù)核校對。檢查單詞拼寫是否正確,是否有時態(tài)、語態(tài)、慣用法及詞語選用上的錯誤,以確保答案的正確性。最后把答案填入答卷時,切勿錯位。
