Adverbial clauses f time (when)時間狀語從句
定義：用來表示時間，修飾主句的從句。引導詞：1) 表示某個時刻發(fā)生的動作：when、while、as、nce 2) 表示某個時刻之前發(fā)生的動作：befre、until3) 表示某個時刻之后發(fā)生的動作：after、since
1. when引導從句時，表示從句的動作與主句的動作同時發(fā)生。eg. When the bell rings, he gets int the classrm. 當鈴聲響起時，他進入教室。 When yu were ut, Jack called in. 你出去的時候，杰克來了。 I will tell her the news when I meet her. 當我見到她時，就會把這個消息告訴她。（當主句是將來時的時候，從句要用一般現在時。）
2. while側重主從句動作的對比，且從句的動詞必須是持續(xù)性的。eg. While we were chatting she was reading cmic．我們聊天時，她正在看漫畫。 3. as引導從句時側重主從句動作同時或幾乎同時進行，從句的動作可以是持續(xù)性的，也可以是短暫的。eg. Smetimes I watch TV as I am having breakfast．有時我一邊吃早飯一邊看電視。
