Adverbial clauses f time (when)時間狀語從句
定義:用來表示時間,修飾主句的從句。引導詞:1) 表示某個時刻發(fā)生的動作:when、while、as、nce 2) 表示某個時刻之前發(fā)生的動作:befre、until3) 表示某個時刻之后發(fā)生的動作:after、since
1. when引導從句時,表示從句的動作與主句的動作同時發(fā)生。eg. When the bell rings, he gets int the classrm. 當鈴聲響起時,他進入教室。 When yu were ut, Jack called in. 你出去的時候,杰克來了。 I will tell her the news when I meet her. 當我見到她時,就會把這個消息告訴她。 (當主句是將來時的時候,從句要用一般現在時。)
2. while側重主從句動作的對比,且從句的動詞必須是持續(xù)性的。eg. While we were chatting she was reading cmic. 我們聊天時,她正在看漫畫。 3. as引導從句時側重主從句動作同時或幾乎同時進行,從句的動作可以是持續(xù)性的,也可以是短暫的。eg. Smetimes I watch TV as I am having breakfast. 有時我一邊吃早飯一邊看電視。
4. 我們也可用after, befre, until, as sn as等連詞引導時間狀語從句。eg. Befre Mary went t bed, she drank sme milk. 瑪麗睡覺前喝了些牛奶。 After he washes his hands, he eats cakes. 他洗手后吃蛋糕。 I didn’t get up until it was 10 a.m. 我直到上午10點才起床。 I will call yu as sn as I get there. 我一到那里就給你打電話。
We can use the cnjunctin when t frm an adverbial clauses f time. It links tw clauses int ne sentence.

We can als use befre, after, while, as sn as and until t frm adverbial clauses f time.

When we use the cnjunctin when t link tw clauses, we tell peple that the tw actins happen at (the same time/ different times).

used t含義:“過去經?!?,其后接動詞原形(不接動名詞):eg. He used t live in Paris. 他過去一直住在巴黎。 I used t write petry when I was yung. 我年輕時常常寫詩。
否定式和疑問式的構成:used t作為情態(tài)動詞,可直接在used后加nt構成否定式或將used置于句首構成疑問式,也可像普通動詞那樣借助助動詞did構成否定式和疑問式:eg. He usedn’t /didn’t use t cme. 他過去不常來。 Used yu t g there? = Did yu use t g there? 你過去常到那兒去嗎?

We use (the simple past tense/ the base frm) f the main verb after used t.
