My lifetime hbby —— studying starsby Patrick MreWhen I was eight, I gt a bk abut stars. That was the beginning f my lifetime hbby.I used t g utside with my mum n clear nights and lk at the sky. It lked like black velvet with a millin diamnds n it. In different seasns, we saw different grups f stars. Smetimes we saw stars shting brightly acrss the sky. Hw beautiful they were!
Studying the stars was great fun fr me. Once I learnt a little abut them, I sn wanted t find ut mre and mre. Nw it is my career. I hst a TV prgramme called The Sky at Night. I use my knwledge t tell peple abut the stars in a lively way. I am prud f my TV prgramme —— it has lasted fr mre than 50 years!Actually, yu can turn yur hbby int yur career t.
