Unit1 Festivals and celebrations Reading and Thinking 教案一：教學(xué)目標(biāo)Teaching goal: To  discover  the  topic  sentence  of  each  paragraph  and  make  out  the structure of the whole passage.learning goal: To  develop  reading  skills  in  different  ways  and  know  the  reasons  for festivals and celebrations.Emotional goal: To appreciate our own culture,and respect other cultures.設(shè)計二：教學(xué)步驟Step 1:Leading-in教師運(yùn)用中國傳統(tǒng)元宵節(jié)小視頻導(dǎo)入，帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生通過英語介紹的元宵節(jié)對中國傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日進(jìn)一步了解，又引出其他中國傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日，順利代入本單元話題。[設(shè)計意圖]：激發(fā)學(xué)生對各國不同節(jié)日文化的好奇，從而引發(fā)對世界各國節(jié)日文化的興趣。  Step 2: Fast-reading切入主題后,教師教授學(xué)生瀏覽全文把握文章大意的方法，然后幫助學(xué)生，在瀏覽全文的基礎(chǔ)上找出各段段落大意。Tips: Identify the “topic sentence”  of each paragraph. It is a good idea to place topic  sentences at the beginning of paragraphs. It  is  a  good  idea  to  place  topic sentences at the beginning of paragraphs.[設(shè)計意圖]：本環(huán)節(jié)主要訓(xùn)練學(xué)生速讀掌握文章主旨大意的能力。Step 3: Intensive-reading通過快讀掌握文章基本結(jié)構(gòu)和大意后，教師帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生去深入研讀文章內(nèi)容。在這一步驟中，需要引導(dǎo)學(xué)生找出支撐各段大意的各個細(xì)節(jié)。課堂操作方法主要是任務(wù)型學(xué)習(xí)法，合作探究法。    1.Time:The  important  agricultural  festival  takes  place  after  the  crops  have been gathered in.   Reason: People celebrate to show that they are grateful for the year’s supply of food.Activities: Egypt：it featured a parade, a great feast with music, dancing and sports.European countries: people decorate churches and town halls with... get together to celebrate over a meal.China: Mid-Autumn Festival: families gather to admire the shinning moon and enjoy delicious mooncakes.2.Why do some traditions possibly fade away?Because of the development of modern society and the spread of new ideas.3.How does the author support his topic sentence,and why?A.By giving examples.B.By making comparison.C.By making experiment.D.By stating arguments.[設(shè)計意圖]：本環(huán)節(jié)重點(diǎn)考察學(xué)生尋找到信息后整合，歸納的能力。  Step 4:Summary在本環(huán)節(jié)的設(shè)置上，教師會鼓勵學(xué)生用英語來總結(jié)概括全文的結(jié)構(gòu)和內(nèi)容，將課堂充分交給學(xué)生。Part 1:  (para 1) →  common spirit of festivalsPart 2:  (para.2-4)→  the harvest festival ;Changes of customs; CommercialisationPart 3:  (para.5)→  Importance[設(shè)計意圖]：本環(huán)節(jié)的設(shè)計充分體現(xiàn)了以學(xué)生為主體，引發(fā)學(xué)生深度思考，和作者意圖達(dá)到共鳴，加深對情感目標(biāo)的落實。Step5 :Discussion在這一環(huán)節(jié)中，教師先給學(xué)生放幾張圖片，然后讓學(xué)生根據(jù)圖片所呈現(xiàn)的內(nèi)容來進(jìn)行拓展式討論。這一環(huán)節(jié)要求學(xué)生進(jìn)行組內(nèi)合作探究，將自己的想法寫下來，并進(jìn)行課堂展示。According  to  the  pictures,  how  do  you  feel  about  the  phenomena  about  the  old traditions fading away?Possible tips:With social development and human progress, it is common for many old customs to be abandoned（拋棄，遺棄）. Although they brought us joy,  they are no longer  suitable for modern life. Take Kongming lanterns  for example.  In the past, flying  them was one of the celebrations,  but it caused many fires and huge losses. Because  of people's awareness of environmental protection, the custom has gradually become a good memory. In my opinion, no matter how the customs change, the significance of  the festivals is to remind us to love and be loved! And we should learn to cherish our families and friends in the festival. Celebration is for better progress![設(shè)計意圖]:教師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生逐步理解節(jié)日文化規(guī)象，鑒別文化現(xiàn)象中反映的價值取向，促進(jìn)他們對文化差異和融通的理解和思考，探究產(chǎn)生異同的歷史文化原因，領(lǐng)悟文化多樣性和豐富性，形成人類命運(yùn)共同體的意識,加深對情感目標(biāo)的落實。Step6 : Assignment 課后作業(yè)時對課堂內(nèi)容輸入的檢驗和升華，本環(huán)節(jié)設(shè)計的課后作業(yè)是寫一篇關(guān)于節(jié)日的文章，探究產(chǎn)生異同的歷史文化原因，領(lǐng)悟文化多樣性和豐富性，形成人類命運(yùn)共同體的意識。Try to write a passage about a festival that you are familiar to.  Your passage should include: ①  a topic; ②  the development, function and importance of the Chinese writing system; ③  a conclusion.[設(shè)計意圖]: 落實課堂輸入，升華主題
