(=I don't know how they will deal with the problem.)我不知道他們將如何處理這個(gè)問(wèn)題。eg:She is easy to do with. 她好相處。deal with 常與how 連用。表示“對(duì)付”、“應(yīng)付”、“處理”、“論述”、“涉及”等。eg:This is a book dealing with Asian problems. 這是一本論述亞洲問(wèn)題的書(shū)。3. Do you divide the waste into things to recycle and things to throw away?你將廢品分成要回收利用的和要丟棄的嗎?(1)divide是及物動(dòng)詞,意為“分開(kāi);分隔”。divide…into…意為“把……分成……”。如:Mr Wang divided his class into five groups. 王老師把他的班分成五個(gè)組。(2)throw away意為“扔掉;丟棄”,是“動(dòng)詞+副詞”結(jié)構(gòu)的短語(yǔ),當(dāng)賓語(yǔ)是代詞時(shí),代詞要放在短語(yǔ)中間,如throw it /them away。e.g. When are you going to throw away those old magazines? 你打算什么時(shí)候扔掉那些舊雜志? He has thrown away a good opportunity. 他已經(jīng)失去了一個(gè)良好的機(jī)會(huì)。4.We all need a healthy environment,but we produce waste every day,and it is harmful to our environment. 我們都需要一個(gè)健康的環(huán)境,但是我們每天制造廢物,這對(duì)我們的環(huán)境是有害的。harmful是形容詞,表示“有害的”,其反義詞是harmless (無(wú)害的),其名詞和動(dòng)詞形式都是harm(傷害;害處)。be harmful to意為“對(duì)……有害處”,相當(dāng)于be bad for,其反義短語(yǔ)是be good for, 其近義短語(yǔ)是do harm to (對(duì)……造成傷害)。如:Watching TV too much is harmful to /does harm to your eyes. 看電視太多對(duì)你的眼睛有害處。5.Repeat these three words daily: reduce, reuse and recycle. 每天重復(fù)這三個(gè)詞:減少、重復(fù)使用和回收。1) daily /'de?li/ adj.每日的;日常的adv.每日;每天 n.日?qǐng)?bào)辨析everyday與dailyEveryday 只作形容詞,修飾名詞everyday English 日常英語(yǔ)daily 既可作形容詞修飾名詞,又可作副詞修飾動(dòng)詞daily clothes 日常服裝He gets up early daily (every day).他每天起得早。2) repeat v. 重說(shuō); 重新做前綴“re-”, 意思是“再, 重復(fù)”e.g. I repeated after the teacher word by word. 我跟著老師一個(gè)字一個(gè)字地讀。3) reuse v. 再次使用; 重復(fù)利用e.g. She often reuses old envelopes.
她經(jīng)常重復(fù)使用舊信封。 The bottles can be reused up to 20 times.
這些瓶子可重復(fù)使用達(dá)20次。 6.It is better to use china cups and cloth bags because they can be used many times. 用瓷杯和布袋更好,因?yàn)樗鼈兛梢远啻问褂谩?/span>It is better to do sth. 意為“最好做某事”。拓展:had better do sth. 意為“最好做某事”;had better not do sth. 意為“最好不要做某事”。it在這里作形式主語(yǔ)。作不定式的形式主語(yǔ)eg:It's not easy to get him to change his mind.
讓他改變主意不容易。作that引導(dǎo)的從句的形式主語(yǔ)eg:It is obvious that we can't go on like this.

Although it takes energy to change things into something else, it is better than throwing things away or burning them. 雖然把東西變成別的東西需要能量,但總比把東西扔掉或燒掉要好。 change … into … 把……變成……e.g. You can’t change iron into gold. 你無(wú)法把鐵變成金子。change /t?e?nd?/ v.變成;轉(zhuǎn)換1)用作動(dòng)詞:change hands 轉(zhuǎn)手 change seats 換座位change...for...意為“用……換……”。 eg:I'm thinking of changing my car for a new one. 我正考慮換輛新車。change...into...意為“把……變成(換成)……”。 eg:He changed his dollars into francs. 他把美元換成了法郎。2)用作名詞,表示“變化”、“改變”,多用作可數(shù)名詞,有時(shí)也可用作不可數(shù)名詞。如:自1978年以來(lái)這里發(fā)生了巨大的變化。Great changes have taken place here since 1978.Much change has taken place here since 1978.8.We throw tons of rubbish away each year,and we have to make a change. 我們每年扔掉很多垃圾,我們必須要做出改變。ton是量詞,意為“噸”。tons of 意為“許多;很多”。如:People eat tons of meat in the city every year. 這座城里的人每年吃很多肉。拓展:a ton of…意為“一噸……”;two tons of…意為“兩噸……”。9.
