理論基礎(chǔ)
義務(wù)教育英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)四級(jí)總目標(biāo)指出，能用簡單的語言表達(dá)簡單的觀點(diǎn)，能讀懂常見文體的小短文和相應(yīng)水平的英文報(bào)刊文章。 語言技能標(biāo)準(zhǔn)四級(jí)中讀的技能要求學(xué)生能從簡單的文章中找出有關(guān)信息，理解大意。語言技能標(biāo)準(zhǔn)五級(jí)閱讀技能要求學(xué)生能根據(jù)上下文猜測生詞。語言知識(shí)五級(jí)詞匯標(biāo)準(zhǔn)要求學(xué)生運(yùn)用詞匯描述事物、行為和特征，說明概念等。
教材分析
本課是北師大版《初中英語》八年級(jí)上冊(cè)第三單元，話題是“節(jié)日”。本課是本單元的第一課，在承接Get Ready部分有關(guān)“Festival and Hlidays”話題的基礎(chǔ)上，本課主要介紹Grace在北京過春節(jié)的情況。
本課的教學(xué)主要分成兩個(gè)課時(shí)，本節(jié)課是第一課時(shí)，側(cè)重對(duì)課文的理解，首先通過頭腦風(fēng)暴的形式激發(fā)學(xué)生已有的知識(shí)：一年中的主要節(jié)日。然后利用猜謎游戲引入中國傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日---春節(jié)，以及春節(jié)人們都有哪些活動(dòng)。接著通過閱讀了解Grace在北京過春節(jié)的文章大意和細(xì)節(jié)信息---Grace在除夕當(dāng)天的各種活動(dòng)，以及Grace當(dāng)時(shí)的感受。本節(jié)課主要滲透現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)的疑問句的相關(guān)知識(shí)，主要引導(dǎo)學(xué)生理解現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)的語用功能。
學(xué)情分析
授課學(xué)校位于北京郊區(qū)的城鄉(xiāng)結(jié)合部，學(xué)生的英語水平參差不齊，但大多數(shù)學(xué)生的英語水平較弱，學(xué)生整體英語能力一般，但思維較活躍，對(duì)英語學(xué)習(xí)比較有興趣。對(duì)于教材中要求掌握的基本詞匯和句型能夠較快理解并運(yùn)用。學(xué)生閱讀能力參差不齊，大部分同學(xué)可以通過閱讀查找細(xì)節(jié)信息，但是猜詞和歸納、推斷等高一級(jí)的閱讀技能很欠缺。
本節(jié)課課型為閱讀課，針對(duì)這種情況，在設(shè)計(jì)上，考慮學(xué)生的層次差距，設(shè)計(jì)題型具有階梯性，由易到難，讓學(xué)困生在閱讀中重新找回自信，優(yōu)等生有機(jī)會(huì)發(fā)揮。作為初二的學(xué)生，培養(yǎng)其良好的閱讀能力非常重要，所以本節(jié)課的內(nèi)容設(shè)計(jì)上注重此點(diǎn)。
教學(xué)目標(biāo)
在本課學(xué)習(xí)結(jié)束時(shí)，學(xué)生能夠：
1、認(rèn)讀有關(guān)節(jié)日名稱及相關(guān)活動(dòng)的詞匯
2、通過閱讀找出Grace在北京過春節(jié)時(shí)的各種活動(dòng)信息，并能根據(jù)上下文猜測生詞的含義。
3、了解全國各地人們歡度春節(jié)的傳統(tǒng)文化
