whether/if 及疑問(wèn)詞引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句
定義:在句子中起賓語(yǔ)作用的從句叫做賓語(yǔ)從句。
賓語(yǔ)從句三要素:連接詞,語(yǔ)序,時(shí)態(tài)
賓語(yǔ)從句的連接詞: 連詞that, 只起連接作用, 在從句中不作句 子成分, 也無(wú)詞匯意義, 在口語(yǔ)中常被省略。 He knew (that) he shuld wrk hard.2. 連詞 if / whether, 它們起連接作用, 在從句 中不充當(dāng)任何句子成分, 但不能省略,作“是否”解, 在口語(yǔ)中多用if。 Tm dn’t knw if / whether his grandpa liked the present. He asked me whether r nt I was cming.
一般情況下, if 和whether可以互換, 但 以下3 種情況只能用whether:① 在不定式前: Whether t g there r nt hasn’t been decided.② 在介詞前: It depends n whether it is ging t rain.③ 與r nt連用: They are talking abut whether t g there r nt.
3. 疑問(wèn)詞引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句疑問(wèn)詞在句中既起連接作用,作句子成分, 又有實(shí)際意義: 連接代詞 wh, whm, whse, what, which, 連接副詞 when, where, why, hwwh 在從句中作主語(yǔ)、表語(yǔ);whm在從句中作賓語(yǔ);whse在從句中作定語(yǔ);what, which在從句中作主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)、表語(yǔ)或定語(yǔ); when, where, why, hw在從句中分別作 時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)、地點(diǎn)狀語(yǔ)、原因狀語(yǔ)、方式狀語(yǔ)。

賓語(yǔ)從句的語(yǔ)序賓語(yǔ)從句的語(yǔ)序是陳述句語(yǔ)序, 即: 連接詞 + 主語(yǔ) + 謂語(yǔ) + 其它成分。而不是疑問(wèn)句 的倒裝結(jié)構(gòu)。 Can yu tell me where will we g?(×) Can yu tell me where we will g?(√)
