On the lsing f traditinal culture
It’s widely nted that lts f traditinal cultures are disappearing alng with the develpment f technlgy. Many ancient architectures and traditinal ways f living have been deserted. It seems that the traditinal culture and craftsmanship will be replaced in this mdern era.
The fllwing reasns can accunt fr the abve phenmenn. Firstly, traditinal technlgies are always cnsidered ineffective while the new sciences are always highly efficient, because mdern science and technlgy facilitate bth ur daily and academic life a lt, with which we can save much mney and time. Secndly, it is cstly t prtect the traditinal culture, especially the maintenance and repair f the histrical buildings.
In my pinin, althugh traditinal culture is an ancient heritage, it culdn’t keep pace with the develpment f sciety. It is the tide f histry that the traditinal culture and technlgy will n dubt be eliminated in the end.
My view n the “Campus Star” Cntest
At an age f character and individuality being encuraged and demnstrated, we see varius “stars” pp up—singing stars, dancing stars, mvie stars and sprt stars. etc. Many schls even hld cntests t chse their “Campus Stars”. Althugh these activities make ur cultural life in campus mre clrful and varius, a lt f prblems spring up at the same time.
First f all, these activities can result in the swelling f vanity in sme students, making them becme arrgant, r even feel superir t ther students. Mrever, these activities can greatly distract the students frm their study. In rder t becme a star, they will, withut any dubt, spend a lt f time and energy n the preparatin and cmpetitin. The fcus f their academic life will be shifted, and even wrse, they becme t enthusiastic abut extracurricular activities and hate the academic knwledge ad skills they need t grasp fr their future develpment.
On the whle, I think these varius “ Campus Star” cntests shuld be cntrlled in the campus. After all, schls are different frm any ther scial institutins. Extracurricular activities shuld be encuraged, but they shuld be helpful t the students’ academic study and all-rund develpment.
The sense f happiness is f great significance. As a vital factr f life, it brings us pwer, aruses ur enthusiasm fr lving life, and helps us t create a prmising future. Hwever, in cntemprary China, it has becme a trend fr Chinese peple t hld different views abut happiness and the way t enhance it.
In additin t material basis, the sense f happiness als refers t several ther aspects. Firstly, based n a recent survey, a majrity f individuals admit that they are n lnger cntent with being fed and clthed adequately, and their happiness depends mre n their success in careers, friendship and lve. Secndly, a great many peple claim that health is the key t their sense f happiness. It is health that enables them t build up a slid fundatin fr anything significant.
As a student, I am cnvinced that never can mney equal happiness. T enhance ur sense f happiness, we shuld educate, advcate and encurage ur friends and classmates t enrich their knwledge, braden their hrizns and cultivate their ability.
Dear Editr,
I’ve read yur discussin n hw t behave prperly while traveling. Every year, a great many hliday makers g ut fr sightseeing and relaxatin. While they are enjying themselves, sme f them behave rudely, which causes a big cncern. Hw t be a civilized turist has becme a heated tpic.
In my pinin, it is necessary t watch ur manners. First, we must respect and fllw lcal custms. Besides, we’d better nt talk ludly in public places t avid disturbance t thers. Als, be aware that queue jumping is unacceptable in many cuntries.
Mre imprtantly, if we travel abrad, we shuld bear in mind that we are representing ur cuntry, s we need t be cautius abut hw we act. Only in this way can we enjy ur trips and have beautiful memries as well.
Yurs truly

Prtect Traditinal Chinese Culture
The prtectin f natinal and flk culture is f great significance t Chinese cultural diversity and als t the harmnius develpment between lcal ecnmic and scial develpment. It is reprted that the Guangdng gvernment pays special attentin t prtecting Chaju(潮劇), a lcal drama brn in Chazhu in the eastern Guangdng prvince.
In my pinin, sme measures shuld be taken t prtect traditinal culture effectively. T start with, we shuld make a law t regulate the sciety’s perfrmance. Besides, we shuld draw mre peple’s attentin t it, fr the mre they knw abut the imprtance f culture prtectin, the strnger supprt we can get frm the public.
In a wrd, it is high time fr us t treasure and develp ur wn valuable culture.
