The idea is t quickly meet the Internet needs f a cmmunity withut having t build a millin cell twers everywhere.”
While the drnes can stay in the air fr mre than a mnth, that’s nt usually necessary when they prvide the Internet fr students. Tiwari says the drnes will be active during peak (高峰) class and hmewrk times and wn’t be flying vernight.
Leusink says his district is lking at the drne service as a prf-f-cncept fr where and hw they need t set up mre permanent (永久的) devices (設備). If a drne in a certain area gives students gd cverage in that area, he says the next step will be fr the district t lk fr mre permanent land-based slutins.
