
一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)
學(xué)生能夠掌握與絲綢之路及旅行相關(guān)的重點(diǎn)詞匯,如:Silk Rad、Terra Ctta Warrirs、
Chinese fd、Yellw River、Mga Caves、ancient paintings、trip plan、start、visit、take a train、
lk frward t、enugh time、end 等。
學(xué)生能夠理解并運(yùn)用課文中關(guān)于旅行計(jì)劃的表達(dá),如:We will start in... We will visit...
Then we will take a train t... Our last stp is...等。
通過閱讀和討論課文,提高學(xué)生的閱讀理解能力和口語表達(dá)能力。
讓學(xué)生分組制定旅行計(jì)劃,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的團(tuán)隊(duì)協(xié)作能力和英語綜合運(yùn)用能力。
激發(fā)學(xué)生對(duì)絲綢之路及中國歷史文化的興趣,增強(qiáng)文化意識(shí)和跨文化交際能力。
培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對(duì)旅行的熱愛,鼓勵(lì)他們探索世界,開闊視野。

(一)教學(xué)重點(diǎn)
課文中重點(diǎn)詞匯和短語的理解與運(yùn)用。
引導(dǎo)學(xué)生理解課文內(nèi)容,掌握關(guān)于旅行計(jì)劃的表達(dá)方式。
(二)教學(xué)難點(diǎn)
學(xué)生能夠用英語流利地討論和制定旅行計(jì)劃,并清晰地表達(dá)自己的想法。
幫助學(xué)生理解絲綢之路的歷史文化背景及其重要性。
三、教學(xué)方法
講授法:講解課文中的重點(diǎn)詞匯、語法和文化知識(shí)。
討論法:組織學(xué)生進(jìn)行小組討論,分享對(duì)絲綢之路及旅行計(jì)劃的看法。
任務(wù)型教學(xué)法:布置小組任務(wù),讓學(xué)生制定旅行計(jì)劃并進(jìn)行展示。
四、教學(xué)過程
(一)Warming-up (3 minutes)
Greeting and free talk
- Teacher greets the students and asks sme simple questins like "Hw was yur weekend?" t
warm up the class and create a relaxed atmsphere.
Lead-in
- Shw a picture f the Silk Rad n the screen and ask students if they knw what it is. Then
briefly intrduce the Silk Rad as an ancient trade rute that cnnected China with the West and
had a great impact n the exchange f cultures and gds.
(二)Pre-reading (5 minutes)
Vcabulary preview
- Present the new wrds and phrases frm the text n the PPT, such as Silk Rad, Terra Ctta
Warrirs, Chinese fd, Yellw River, Mga Caves, ancient paintings, trip plan, start, visit, take a
train, lk frward t, enugh time, end.
- Prnunce each wrd and phrase clearly and ask students t repeat after the teacher. Explain
the meanings and give sme simple examples t help students understand.
Predictin
- Shw the title "Our trip plan" and ask students t predict what the text might be abut.
Encurage them t share their ideas with the class.
(三)While-reading (15 minutes)
Skimming
- Ask students t read the text quickly and find ut the main idea f the text. Then invite a few
students t share their answers.
- Guide students t summarize that the text is abut a persn's trip plan alng the Silk Rad,
including the starting pint, destinatins, activities, and feelings.
Scanning
- Give students specific questins t answer while reading the text again, such as:
- Where will they start their trip?
- What places will they visit alng the way?
- What will they d in each place?
- Why is Dunhuang special fr the writer?
- Students read the text carefully and find the answers. Then check the answers with the whle
class.
Detailed reading
- Read the text paragraph by paragraph with the students. Explain the difficult sentences and
grammar pints. Fr example, explain the usage f "lk frward t + ding sth." and help
students understand the structure f the sentences in the text.
- Encurage students t ask questins if they have any difficulties in understanding the text.
(四)Pst-reading (15 minutes)
Grup discussin
- Divide the students int grups f 4 - 5. Ask them t discuss the fllwing questins:
- What d yu think f the trip plan in the text?
- If yu were t travel alng the Silk Rad, what ther places wuld yu like t visit and why?
- Give students 5 - 7 minutes t discuss. Then ask each grup t chse a representative t share
their grup's ideas with the class.
Rle-play
- Ask students t wrk in pairs. One student acts as a travel agent and the ther acts as a
custmer wh wants t travel alng the Silk Rad. The travel agent needs t help the custmer
plan a trip, including suggesting places t visit, transprtatin, and activities.
- Give students 5 - 8 minutes t prepare and then ask several pairs t perfrm in frnt f the
class. Encurage ther students t give feedback and cmments.
(五)Summary (3 minutes)
Summarize the key pints f the lessn with the students, including the main cntent f the text,
the new vcabulary and expressins learned, and the imprtance f the Silk Rad in histry and
culture.
Ask students if they have any questins r need further clarificatin n any pints.
(六)Hmewrk (2 minutes)
Ask students t write a shrt passage abut their wn travel plan, including where they want t
g, what they want t d, and why. They shuld use the vcabulary and expressins learned in
this class.
Encurage students t search fr mre infrmatin abut the Silk Rad and share it with the
class in the next lessn.
