English wrds are made up f different parts. These parts are called syllables. Every wrd has ne r mre syllables.
英語單詞由音節(jié)組成。所有的單詞都有一個或多個音節(jié)。
有的單詞只包括一個音節(jié)，有的單詞包含兩個、三個或更多的音節(jié)，分別稱為單音節(jié)詞、雙音節(jié)詞和多音節(jié)詞。單音節(jié)詞一般都是重讀的。雙音節(jié)詞一般只有一個音節(jié)是重讀的。多音節(jié)詞除了重讀音節(jié)外，有時還有一個次重讀音節(jié)。
音節(jié)的核心是元音。少數輔音字母，如l、m、n也可以構成非重讀音節(jié)。一個音節(jié)里可以只有一個元音字母而沒有其他字母，如i 、a。元音字母的前面或后面可以有一個或兩個輔音字母。如we, she, at, ask, bx, them, desk, middle, letter等。
