In 1999, the statin rescued 7 injured red-crwned cranes frm the wild, which brught a crucial ray f hpe fr the prgram. Tw Gergia Tech researchers, Kantwn Rgers and Reiden Webber, designed a driving simulatin (模擬) experiment t investigate hw intentinal rbt deceptin affects trust between humans and AI, and whether different types f aplgies can help repair that trust.
In the simulatin, participants were instructed t drive a“ rbt-assisted car” t the hspital t save a friend’s life, while the AI assistant falsely warned f plice ahead, advising participants t stay under the speed limit. Upn reaching the hspital, participants were infrmed that there were n plice, and they received ne f five different text-based respnses frm the rbt — three admitting the lie, tw ffering a simple aplgy withut admissin. The study aimed t determine which type f aplgy was mst effective in repairing trust after a rbt’s lie.

D. T study AI deceptin’s impact n trust.
9. Which respnse frm AI is the mst effective in repairing trust in the experiment?
A. “I am srry.”B. “I lied t yu.”
C. “Yu’ re at yur destinatin.”D. “Frgive me fr my fault.”
10. What might Rgers advise AI law makers t d?
A. Balance innvatin and users’ safety.
B. Priritize prtectin f users’ privacy.
C. Prmte mral behavir in AI systems.
D. Enfrce clearer and stricter regulatins.
11. What can be a suitable title fr the text?

【導語】本文是一篇說明文。文章主要介紹了幾種幫助改善自我對話進而提升個人表現(xiàn)的方法,旨在引導學生注重與自我的溝通,從而更好地實現(xiàn)自己的目標。
【16題詳解】
根據(jù)空前句“Maybe yu are prbably getting an earful (訓斥) frm yur inner vice.(也許你可能聽到了內(nèi)心訓斥的聲音)”提到你可能從內(nèi)心的聲音中聽到了長時間的數(shù)落;空后“Here are several ways t change yur self- talk script and t use yur inner vices t perfrm better.(這里有幾個方法來改變你的自我對話腳本,用你內(nèi)心的聲音來表現(xiàn)得更好。)”可知,這里有幾種方法可以改變你的自我對話腳本,并利用你的內(nèi)心聲音讓你表現(xiàn)得更好。設(shè)空處位于段中,應(yīng)承上啟下。F項中的“ negative cmments in yur head”與空前句中的“ an earful frm yur inner vice”相呼應(yīng),且其中的“ make it difficult fr yu t succeed”與空后句中的“ perfrm better”相呼應(yīng)。 因此,F(xiàn)選項“Often, negative cmments in yur head make it difficult fr yu t succeed(通常,你頭腦中的負面評論會讓你很難成功)”銜接上下文。故選F。
【17題詳解】
根據(jù)后文“And when yur inner vices start t fill with wrds f frustratin and discuragement, pause the cnversatin as yu cnsider ways t change it.(當你內(nèi)心的聲音開始充滿沮喪和沮喪時,暫停談話,考慮改變它的方法)”中提取的關(guān)系詞“And”可知,設(shè)空處與空后句構(gòu)成并列關(guān)系??涨熬洹癐n high- pressure situatins, self- talk is ften critical. Instead f thinking deliberately and lgically, ur inner vices are caused by emtin. E選項“S yur first step is t listen critically t what yu are saying t yurself(因此,你的第一步是批判性地傾聽你對自己說的話)”符合語境。故選E。
【18題詳解】
根據(jù)空前內(nèi)容“One effective way t manage stress is t create psychlgical distance. This can be achieved by using secnd- r third- persn prnuns when referring t the situatin.
