Winners in each categry will receive £500 and the ptin f taking up a Time t Write package including a three-night stay at a htel in Belfast and fur days f special writing space in The Crescent.

Hawkins, brn n Feb.10, 1916, in Wiscnsin, is a lifelng athlete. Hawkins shwed interest in cycling fr much f her life befre lsing interest due t a lack f cmpetitin. "There wasn’t anyne left my age t cmpete with," she tld the NSGA in 2021.
Hawkins became a darling f the track and field wrld when she tk up running at 100 years ld. Accrding t media reprts, she started running at the urging f her children. It wasn’t lng befre she established her dminance in the sprt, setting the 100-meter recrd in the 100-104 age categry in 2017 with a swift finish f 39.62 secnds.
She set several ther recrds in her age level and charmed crwds with her frankness.
