The schl bus hnked and Akhila, unlike her usual self, asked the bus driver t leave. There was unusual cnfidence n Akhila’s face. Manu finally wke up at arund 9 ’ clck. He ran dwn t the kitchen and cried ut “Mm! Why didn’t yu wake me up? The schl bus has already left and I am really late fr schl tday.” He culdn’t stp crying. “I have a math test tday and Mrs. Mangat will punish me if I miss her class and the test.” The calm face f Akhila made Manu feel mre anxius.
