Japanese researchers are genetically changing msquites s that they becme carriers f a vaccine (疫苗) that culd vaccinate millins fr free. The researchers have already genetically changed a msquit species s that its saliva (唾液) cntains a prtein that acts as a vaccine against leishmaniasis, a deadly disease that leads t terrible skin prblems. The team cnfirmed that mice bitten by the genetically-engineered msquit develped an antibdy t the disease, meaning they had built up immunity (免疫力).
