After the game, I pushed the snwblwer int the garage, where I tk it apart. As I drpped the engine, handle, and wheels int a large trash can, I felt a rush f freedm. N mre trips t the gas statin, and n mre il changes, breakdwns r strage. Mre imprtantly, n mre frustratin and n mre time wasted in dealing with the stupid machine. I came t realize that the snwblwer was a symbl f the unnecessary chas in my life. Carlyn was surprised t see what I had dne after returning frm shpping; her jaw drpped.
I shared with Carlyn my decisin t simplify ur lives. She was less excited than me but supprtive. We made a list f pssessins and activities that messed up ur life. Tgether, we agreed t let g f things that didn’t add value r jy. Over the next few mnths, we dnated unused items, rerganized ur hme, and spared mre time fr meaningful experiences. Nw each winter, as I clear the driveway by hand, I remember Threau's wrds. The wrk is hard, but I enjy every minute f it. Thrugh simplifying my life, I discver a prfund sense f peace and fulfillment that I never thught pssible.
