Chevalier’s chice f China as a research destinatin was nt made by chance. Her research has primarily fcused n the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau. She had als cllabrated (合作) with Chinese scientists frm the beginning f her master’s prgram. “When they asked if I wanted t jin their team after my pst-dctrate, I gladly accepted and have n regrets. N matter hw yu feel abut it. AI is here. S, which types f jbs are mst at risk? What’s the best way t stay relevant?
Accrding-t a Gldman Sachs study, mst jbs and industries are nly partially expsed t autmatin and are thus mre likely t be cmplemented (輔助) rather than replaced by AI S, which are the mst endangered?
Jc Apfelbaum, wh teaches hw t use AI thrugh his curse, says mst at risk are jbs that use a prcess that can be dne faster and cheaper with AI like frming prducts r filing tax returns.
Shannan Mnsn, a funder and educatr, says the utlk is nt that negative. “We didn’t stp washing ur dishes just because the dishwasher was invented. We simply get t d it faster, easier, and with less effrt.” Paul Canetti, a prfessr at Clumbia Business Schl, says that decisin-makers and peple managers are safe because AI can’t mtivate r relate t humans.
As AI develps, its applicatin might nt be as fast as we think. But thse wh are well-learned in it quickly are at mre f an advantage. Canetti says there is ging t be “a lng perid f transitin (過(guò)渡期),where yu can perfrm incredibly well at yur jb by taking advantage f these new tls befre the average persn des.”
Experts agree that distinctly human skills will remain the mst valuable. Humans are uniquely qualified there and human-t-human wrk is ging t be hardest t replace. “Fcus n building yur skills as a team player and a team leader” Mnsn says. Apfelbaum argues that it’s nt just abut reskilling, but rather peple need t get ver their fears and get cmplete with wh they are s they can shw up with all their creativity since AI des nt have passin and real human creativity.
28. What may be affected mst by AI?
A. Managing human resurces.B. Reprting taxes.
C. Making decisins.D. Releasing new prducts.
29. What might Apfelbaum and Mnsn agree with?

I’m sure yu’ve all taken sme persnality tests, like MBTI test r thse in psychlgy class, that can be great fr icebreaker activities but hw d intrversin and extrversin (內(nèi)向與外向) play ut in ur daily lives?
An intrverted brain has a high autmatic system reactivity which means that they are far less likely t seek ut stimulatin. Hence, intrverts tend t be less scial, avid cnflict and ften prcess things the best when alne. Extrverts, hwever, draw their attentin frm the envirnment because f their brain’s lw stimulatin. They seek ut scial situatins and ften feel mre cmfrtable in grup settings.
Our current educatin system emphasizes the need fr “cllabrative learning”, “prject-based learning” and “flipped classrms (翻轉(zhuǎn)課堂)”. In this system, intrversin in students can be cmmnly misinterpreted by teachers as bredm r prblematic issues. Furthermre, intrverted students are less likely t participate in grup discussins, and ftentimes feel mre pressure and anxiety t becme extrverted. These feelings can easily flw int ther aspects f life and impact an intrvert’s scial and academic life.
Hwever, there are still upsides t being an intrvert. Intrverts may nt always thrive in the scial aspects f a class, but their intense cncentratin and tendency t be rganized and methdical can reflect further success in cnventinal frms f educatin like grades and exams. On average, mre intelligent children are-fund t be intrverts than extrverts.
S, what can teachers d? Firstly, ne f the mst imprtant steps is recgnizing; understanding the need t accmmdate intrverted students, while supprting extrverted students. Fr example, teachers can redefine participatin. Participatin shuldn’t just represent the times a student raises their hand r speaks in a discussin. Helping thers, vlunteering, revising wrk, etc. all reflect a student’s participatin in the class. Besides, they can cnsider playing with space. Gruped desks might be great fr extrverts but cnsider creating “quiet znes” fr students willing t fcus n a task r create submissin bxes fr intrverted students t leave their discussin thught.
32. What is the cause f the difference between intrverts and extrverts?
A. Cmmunicatin abilities.B. Attitude twards cnflicts.
C. Prblem prcessing capability.D. Brain reactivity t stimulatin.
33. What des the underlined wrd “thrive” in paragraph 4 mean?
A. Succeed.B. Emerge.C. Withdraw.D. Struggle.
34. What des the authr suggest teachers d?
A. Develp students’ self-management skills
B. Guide students t develp intense cncentratin.
C. Encurage students t participate in class debates.
D. Create an intrvert-friendly learning envirnment.
35. What can be a suitable title fr the text?
A. Intrverts & Extrverts: Hw Students React t Teaching
B. Psychlgy f Persnality: Challenges f Being Intrverted
C. Intrverts & Extrverts: When Classrms Overlk Intrverts
D. Psychlgy f Persnality: Discussins n Class Participatin

One pssible versin:
Dear Terry,
I’m writing t share with yu a PE class I had at Qingyuan Muntain last week. During the class, we participated fresh utdr activities in the scenic area.
I engaged in a hike up the muntain trails, where we enjyed breathtaking views and fresh air. Our hiking started frm appreciating the Lajun Rck t reaching the viewing platfrm n the hillside, with sme rest halfway t admire the leaves and ancient buildings.
The experience was refreshing. Being surrunded by nature made the physical activities less tiring. And under my teacher’s guidance, we have learned t better treasure the lcal culture.
I hpe yu find this experience interesting!
Best regards,
Li Hua

One pssible versin:
Inspired by Mrs. Benny’s wrds, I started t practice right away. In Mrs. Benny’s kitchen, I carefully selected the materials, paying clse attentin t their freshness. I experimented with different cmbinatins, adjusting the seasnings and cking techniques based n hw the materials reacted. The fllwing days witnessed my daily effrts. By the end f the week, my dishes were imprving, and I felt mre cnfident and decided t present a ndle. During the class cmpetitin, I was surprised that my dish earned the teacher’s praises n the flavrs f my presentatin.
After the cmpetitin, I went hme with the dish cheerfully. I placed the dish n the table with a smile, annuncing what I had achieved t my family. My mm tasted the ndle and lked at me with surprise and pride. “Malia, this is wnderful! Yu’ve really put yur heart int this,” she said. The twins enjyed that t, and I felt a warm sense f accmplishment. My hard wrk had paid ff, and I truly learned that cking was nt just abut fllwing recipes but abut creativity, patience, and using all my senses.
