Every day, we face a range f decisins, frm picking a shirt fr wrk t chsing a jb. Sme f these decisins have far-reaching cnsequences that may impact the rest f ur lives. These chices can be difficult, and we aren’t ften aware f the reasns behind why we make certain chices. A new study explres hw we make decisins when it cmes t shrt and lng-term rewards (回報(bào)). It fund that we were mre impulsive (沖動(dòng)) with decisins that may bring abut an immediate reward than thse that have lnger-term cnsequences.
The study was cnducted by Prfessr Pleger frm Ruhr University Bchm. The team wanted t knw hw we make decisins abut what t eat and hw t make a prfit. They asked subjects t chse between smaller immediate rewards and larger rewards that they had t wait fr. The lnger they waited, the bigger the reward. Brain activity was bserved using functinal MRI, which shws which parts f the brain are active during decisin-making.
The brain bservatin revealed interesting differences when it came t each type f reward. When peple made decisins abut mney, brain areas respnsible fr thinking abut the future and self-cntrl were mre active. When deciding abut fd, the areas that are linked t immediate satisfactin were mre invlved. This means that ur decisin-making pattern depends n the type f reward that we are presented with.
By understanding hw ur brains respnd t different types f rewards, we may develp better tls that cntrl hw we make thse decisins that may have serius cnsequences in ur lives. Prfessr Pleger believes that understanding these differences can lead t new treatments fr impulsive behavirs and addictins. B. It is assciated with different brain areas.
C. It has nthing t d with the type f reward.
D. It brings peple mre immediate satisfactin.
10. Why des the authr mentin the example in the last paragraph?
A. T cnfirm the assumptin.B. T shw the applicatin f the study.
C. T cmpare the differences.D. T praise the effectiveness f the tls.

Department f Educatin is integrating AI int plicy because the technlgy allws educatrs t supprt students with a valuable, persnalized apprach t learning. Knwing hw t use AI effectively and prperly will be necessary fr students’ future develpment.

14. What may the ban n AI at schl result in?
A. Rapid evlutin f AI.B. Students’ cnfusin abut AI.
C. Ppularity f a live tutr.D. Educatrs’ interest in technlgy.
15. What is the U.S. Department f Educatin’s attitude twards AI?

Fr example, Neurfeedback (神經(jīng)反饋) can bserve real-time brain activity t help individuals manage their brain functins, which can help them make particularly difficult decisins, specifically surrunding unhealthy r addictive chices.

10. Why des the authr mentin the example in the last paragraph?
A. T cnfirm the assumptin.B. T shw the applicatin f the study.
C. T cmpare the differences.D. T praise the effectiveness f the tls.
