Wrld Cleanup Day is held n the third Saturday in September every year. Vlunteers in 180 cuntries and 37 areas fight against the glbal（全球的）rubbish prblem and clean up waste. It is t cnnect the glbal cmmunity, raise awareness（意識(shí)）, and bring true change t achieve the final gal--a clean and healthy planet. Wrld Cleanup Day n Sep. 16, 2023 brught tgether 19. 1 millin vlunteers in 198 cuntries and areas. 219 tns f waste was cleaned up.

The Xuwen Marathn（馬拉松）was taken place n Sunday 14th January. The race hsted arund 5,000 marathn runners frm all ver the cuntry. It started at 7: 30 a. m. at
Qujie n January 14th,2024. Chen Huawei became the first runner t win a full marathn gld medal in the Xuwen Marathn 2024. Chen Huawei cmpleted the 42. 195-kilmeter full race in 2:21: 35. Yang Yuan wn the first place in the wmen's grup with a time f 2:57:36.
"The view is very beautiful alng the way and the vlunteers are very friendly. " Chen Huawei said. Yang Yuan was als pleased with her results. Xuwen is a wnderful place. "The vlunteers were cheering fr us alng the way while I was running. I was full f energy. " she said. A visitr,10-years-ld Chen Jie remembered what happened when she gt lst. "A vlunteer cmfrted and help me call my parents at nce while I was crying. " Chenjie said.
"The atmsphere（氛圍）is cheerful because lts f peple cme t supprt the runners. It's my first time t vlunteer in a marathn. It's a new and interesting experience fr me," a vlunteer tld Zhanjiang Daily.
Althugh the Xuwen Marathn 2024 ended, sprtsmanship remains and gives peple pwer t mve frward.
