Brn in Ningb City Zhejiang Prvince in December 1930, Tu Yuyu shwed a strng interest in medicine when she was yung. After graduating frm Beijing Medical University in 1955, she wrked n medical researches. In January, 1969, she began t cnduct experiments n different drugs and medicine.
Having tried ver 380 times, she finally succeeded in develping artemisinin(青蒿素). In spite f this achievement, she still devted herself t all kinds f medical researches, aiming t find mre effective drugs fr human’s health. Because f her great cntributins and devtin t the medical field, she was awarded the Nbel Medical Prize in 2015, becming wrld-famus.

Mr Zhang, a middle-aged man in his frties, is my math teacher. Ordinary-lking as he is, he is extrardinary in his wrk. I used t be pr at math. Seldm did I pass math examinatins. Hwever, he never lks dwn upn me, nr des he becme fed up with my “silly” questins.
Instead, he explains the knwledge t me patiently, keeps encuraging me and sparking my interest in learning math with lts f nvel ways and ideas. Gradually, my math imprved. I express my gratitude t him nt nly because f his prfund knwledge as well as humrus teaching style, but als his devtin t wrk and patience with his students. He is really a gd teacher wh deserves my admiratin and respect.
