【答案】Explring Chinese Histry and Culture
Last Friday, ur schl rganized an activity called “Explring Chinese Histry and Culture”, aiming t enhance students’ understanding and appreciatin f Chinese histry and culture.
During the activity, students participated in varius wrkshps, including calligraphy, traditinal Chinese painting, and paper-cutting. They had the pprtunity t learn frm experts and experience these traditinal art frms firsthand. Additinally, there were lectures n Chinese histry and culture, as well as an exhibitin f cultural relics.
The activity received psitive feedback frm students. They fund it engaging and infrmative, as it allwed them t gain a deeper appreciatin f China’s rich heritage. Many students expressed their interest in cntinuing t explre Chinese histry and culture in the future.

The next mrning, I shwed Grandma my creatins. “Lk, Grandma!” I said excitedly, hlding up knitted glves. “I made this fr yu with the yarn frm yur ld sweaters.” Grandma’s eyes lit up as she tk the glves frm my hands.
“Yur family,” I said, handing the glves with the faces f Peti and Ze t Grandma. “They’ll keep yur hands warm, just like yu used t keep me warm with yur knitting.” Grandma smiled as she tk the glves and held them tightly in her hands. Frm that day n, Grandma’s hands were never still. She wuld knit and tell stries, her vice strng and clear as she remembered all the gd times with her family. And every time I saw her wearing the glves, I knew that I had given her mre than just a gift. I had given her a piece f my heart, and a reminder f the lve that we shared.

Sandal Castle is nw fully repened t visitrs after repairs csting £700,000. The bridges, paths, steps t the castle and castle viewing area were clsed because f health and safety cncerns, which restricted access t sme parts f the castle. But visitrs can enjy all f the attractin nw that the Wakefield Cuncil-led restratin has been cmpleted. Tm Stannard, Wakefield Cuncil's directr fr ecnmic grwth, said that they had demnstrated their care fr the histry f the district with a big investment in Sandal Castle. The first part was challenging because f prblems with the first bridge which were revealed during a histry dig. Tm als said he was delighted that these have been dealt with successfully and that the site will be pen fully again, with the bridges, paths and steps better than ever. Part tw f the wrk is scheduled t begin at the end f the mnth. At that time, specialist stne wrkers will repair and preserve the standing remains f the castle. Cnservatin specialist Stne Edge has been appinted by the cuncil t carry ut the secnd part. The wrk will include essential stne repairs in varius areas f the site, beginning with the inner gate huse.
