When I wrked as a nurse, I was n day duty while my wrkmates were n night duty. On ne shift, I sensed smething just befre ging ff duty at 11 am. At first I thught I had accidentally kncked it ver, but then I felt the whle building shaking and heard patients were screaming.
I realized that an earthquake was happening. I quickly caught hld f a nearby patient, wh was terribly frightened and pushed her under a bed. And then, I gt under anther bed myself. As sn as the earthquake stpped, I decided t try and get the patient safely utside. I carried her ut and helped her dwn t the grassland, where several ther peple had gathered.
Afraid that my ther wrkmates were in danger, I went back inside the building again. When I met Lucy ,ur ward sister(護(hù)士長(zhǎng)），I fund her patient culdn't walk. We made a seat fr the patient by linking ur hands and arms, and carried her utside tgether. We went back thrugh the building t check n ne was left behind in ur ward(病房）.
Just then, we saw that a man dctr was calling fr vlunteers t g dwn t ther wards with him t help mre peple. S we went tgether. The dctr went ahead f us and fund ne f the nurses partially cvered with rubble（碎石），luckily still alive. Suddenly, the aftershck (余震）struck and the dctr rdered us t leave. Later in the afternn, I I had time t lk arund and saw the sme destryed buildings. My beautiful wrkplace lay beynd recgnitin, even sme in ruins. At the sight f this, I felt a weight in my chest. Suddenly, the gentle wind danced arund me, which made me thught f all the peple surviving the earthquake with ur help. It was ur teamwrk that made a difference. I held the firm belief that sme day in the future my wrkplace wuld came back t life and tk n a new lk, where we wuld cntinue wrking tgether t save mre patients.
