Later, scientists will examine the vide which has recrded fr signs f the tw species f dlphins that inhabit the river: the pink and bulbus bt (亞馬孫河豚), and the smaller, prettier tucuxi (白海豚). Exactly hw many live in the basin is a mystery. Sme studies have suggested a decline f the pink dlphins in specific areas f the Amazn River, but the Internatinal Unin fr Cnservatin f Nature (IUCN) says there isn’t enugh data available fr either species f dlphins.
