When I was young, I admired those great heroes and supermen. I was sure to answer “to be a great woman” whenever I was asked about my dream.

According to COVID—19 control policies (政策), people are asked to keep at least one meter between each other in line for nucleic acid testing (核酸檢測). At a nucleic acid testing site in Zhengzhou, central China's Henan Province, stickers with brain teasers (腦筋急轉(zhuǎn)彎) became the new markers. While standing in line, people would see a question on the floor, and after moving a meter with the line, the answer to that question would appear on the next sticker.

At a nucleic acid testing site in Jiangxi, a handful of umbrellas were used to mark the one—meter line. And people kept their distance by the shadow the umbrellas showed on the ground. These umbrellas also served as shade (遮陽物).

I am sure you know the story of the turtle and the rabbit. It taught people many lessons. One of these lessons is that people who have all the advantages (the fast—jumping rabbit) can be beaten by those who have nothing but inner (內(nèi)心的) strength (the slow turtle).
It is true that the race of life, just like the one between the rabbit and the turtle, is often unfair. Some kids have all the luck. They were born healthy and their parents are rich. A student from Tsinghua University shared his personal experience online. Instead of having fun with his classmates outside, he chose to get a part—time job and study hard. He knew there would be plenty of time for fun once he had overcome all of the difficulties. His story may have encouraged “turtles”. The race of life is long. Even if you get off to a slow start, you can easily catch up if you make a decision to do so.
