Pre-task preparations1．和學(xué)生做“快速反應(yīng)”游戲。出示各個(gè)西方節(jié)日的圖片，學(xué)生馬上說出對(duì)應(yīng)的名稱。2．播放Sing a song的視頻或錄音，學(xué)生跟著錄音唱歌，活躍課堂氣氛。II. While-task procedures1．用多媒體出示Read a story的圖片1，讓學(xué)生閱讀文字，然后回答問題。（1）What did Rudolf's nose look like?(It was big and red.)（2）Did Rudolf like his nose? Why? (No, he didn't. Because his friends laughed at him.)（3）What did Rudolf's friends say about his nose?(They said his nose was funny.)然后讓學(xué)生閱讀第二至第五段，填空完成下面的段落。It was Christmas Eve. Father Christmas was on his way to give presents to the children. Rudolf and his friends helped Father Christmas. The weather was bad. Rudolf's nose was bright. He took Father Christmas to the children.出示圖片6，讓學(xué)生猜猜Rudolf的朋友們?cè)谡f什么以及Rudolf會(huì)說什么。讓學(xué)生讀課文，看看誰的猜測(cè)更接近故事原文。然后把學(xué)生分成兩大組，分別模仿Rudolf和他的朋友們，大聲對(duì)話。S1: You have a great nose, Rudolf.S2: Thank you. I like my nose.2．播放故事視頻或音頻，讓學(xué)生觀看動(dòng)畫或聽錄音，提出自己不懂的句子或單詞，教師給予講解。讓學(xué)生完成Read a story的后續(xù)練習(xí)，然后全班核對(duì)答案。3．通過引導(dǎo)性問題和學(xué)生討論故事蘊(yùn)含的道理。最后的結(jié)論可以讓學(xué)生用中文表達(dá)。T: Did Rudolf like his nose at the end of the story?S1: Yes, he did.T: Why?S2: Because his friends said, “You have a great nose.”T: Why did his friends say so? S3: Because his nose helped Father Christmas fined his way in bad weather.T: So you see, Rudolf did not like his nose at first because his nose was difficult, and his friends laughed at him. He liked his nose in the end because his nose was useful, and his friends praised him for it. Do you learn anything from the story?S4: I think we are all different from others. We should love ourselves. III. Post-task activities學(xué)生分組演出課本劇，全體學(xué)生評(píng)出最佳表演獎(jiǎng)、最佳演員以及最佳語音獎(jiǎng)。 作業(yè)布置Act out the dialogue in pairs.板書設(shè)計(jì)Unit 11 Western festivals詞匯：laugh at日常用語：Is that you?
