Lesson 9 Mr.Wood Teaches a Science Lesson
1．能夠正確聽、說、認、讀temperature，degree，zero，ill等表達溫度以及感受的單詞，并且能夠在真實的語境中運用這些單詞進行表達。2．能夠運用情景創(chuàng)設法、任務驅(qū)動法、自主合作探究法、以舊帶新法和多媒體技術(shù)直觀地學習如何詢問和表達氣溫，達到讓學生自然交流、綜合運用的目的。3．通過情景創(chuàng)設，讓學生能夠根據(jù)天氣選擇正確的活動，以及穿戴方式，激發(fā)和培養(yǎng)學生學習英語的欲望和樂于運用英語交流的態(tài)度和能力。
重點掌握詢問溫度的用語“What's the temperature now？”和詢問某人體溫的句型“What's your temperature？”及其答語。難點能夠理解degree的正確用法。
Step 1 Warming up1．Watch a video about temperature.通過觀看有趣的關(guān)于溫度的英語科普小視頻，將學生帶入科學的世界，同時視頻中會出現(xiàn)本課將要學習的單詞，對學習本課起到了預設的作用。同時又完美地將科學與英語進行了學科的整合，為學生以后的學習做好了鋪墊。2．Free talk.T：What day is it toady?Is it warm today?What is the temperature now?Step 2 Presentation1．學習單詞和句子。(1)T：Boys and girls，welcome to“Ah，Ah，Ah，Ah，Science Experiment Station”(啊啊啊啊科學實驗站)．T：Look at the thermometer(溫度計)，please tell me“What is the temperature now？”．學生觀察溫度計，并且以小組的形式匯報。此時學生會用到本課所學句型“What is the temperature now？”“It's…degrees.”。教師此時可適時引導學生學習本課的單詞“temperature”“degrees”。在前面的視頻中這兩個詞已經(jīng)出現(xiàn)，所以此時的學習是一個復習的過程，降低了學生學習的難度。(2)Take your own temperature in groups.Take your own temperature，and tell me“What is your temperature？”因為學生在科學課上已經(jīng)學過測量體溫了，所以這個并不是難點。同時教師將這兩個句型寫在黑板上，以加深學生的印象。2．學習文本對話。T：Today，Mr.Wood has a science lesson，let's go and have a look.(1)聽錄音，理解Part 1部分的內(nèi)容。(通過聽力，完成探究學習中第Ⅰ題。完成后核對答案。)(2)聽錄音，看對話，進一步理解Part 1部分的內(nèi)容。(完成探究學習中第Ⅱ題。完成后核對答案。)(3)小組閱讀Part 1，討論并翻譯主要句子的中文意思，掌握單詞、句子讀法。(4)教師領(lǐng)讀Part 1，學生模仿、齊讀練習、小組敘述。3．學習Part 2。Do a weather forecast.Students work in pairs and Finish Part 2.And then students pretend to be a reporter.將第二部分的內(nèi)容以天氣預報的形式展現(xiàn)出來，并配上天氣預報的背景音樂烘托氣氛，同時加入溫馨的穿衣指數(shù)提示，可以將第二部分的內(nèi)容完整地展示出來。Step 3 Practice1．Try to finish“Read Part 1 and answer the questions.”2．Read and act the dialogue out.Step 4 Consolidation教師播放關(guān)于全球氣候變暖帶來的不良影響的視頻。Q：What will happen if we do not protect the environment?Step 5 Summing up & Homework1．Summing up.(1)Words：temperature，degree，zero，ill(2)Sentences：What's the temperature…？What's your temperature…？What's the chicken's temperature?這節(jié)課我的收獲是：___________________________________________________________這節(jié)課我的不足是：___________________________________________________________2．Homework.(1)Listen and read Part 1.聽錄音，朗讀本課的第一部分。(2)Finish the relevant workbook exercises.完成課堂檢測中的相關(guān)習題。(3)Write a report about animals' temperature.寫一份關(guān)于動物體溫的報告。
