We can use althugh r thugh t frm an adverbial clause f cncessin.
We can als put the adverbial clause f cncessin after the main clause.
由althugh引導(dǎo)的讓步狀語從句表示 “盡管……，（但是）……”。一般情況下，可以和thugh引導(dǎo)的讓步狀語從句互換使用，但在口語中thugh更為常用。讓步狀語從句可以置于主句之前，也可以置于主句之后。

①?兩個詞同義，一般情況下可以互換使用，如：He didn’t light the fire thugh / althugh it was cld.② althugh 比thugh 正式，語氣較重，常用于強調(diào)讓步概念，如：He insisted n ding it althugh I warned him nt t.
③ thugh可以和even 連用，但althugh 不可以，如：Althugh (Even thugh) the traffic held us up, we gt t the airprt n time.④ 當(dāng)讓步狀語從句是指一種假設(shè)的情況，不指事實時，通常用thugh，而不用althugh，如：Thugh all the wrld were against me, I shall still hld t my pinin.⑤ thugh可以在非正式文體中用作連接性狀語，而althugh 則不行。（thugh 可以放在句中或句末，通常用逗號隔開），如： He said he wuld cme; he didn’t, thugh.
⑥ thugh引導(dǎo)的從句可用倒裝語序（即把從句中的表語或狀語等放在thugh之前），而althugh 不能這樣用，如：Yung thugh she is, yet she is fit fr the jb. (= Yung as she is, …)⑦ 有時可用副詞yet, still, nevertheless (但不能用連 詞but) 來配合連接詞thugh或althugh，以加強語氣，如：Thugh he is ver seventy, yet / still / nevertheless he can ride the bike.
⑧ thugh和althugh后面的主語和謂語動詞be 可以省略，但前提條件是這個主語和主句中的主語指同一 個人或物時，如：Thugh (it was) cld, it was a fine winter mrning.Thugh (they were) very tired, they cntinued t march n.
