Researchers ut f Australia's Flinders University recently studied varius physical reactins during sleep when expsed t nise. They fund that certain levels f nise while sleeping, even thse belw recmmended safe levels, may affect a persn's cardivascular(心血管的)respnse. When slwly activated during sleep, these respnses "culd ptentially have adverse effects n the cardivascular system,” said researchers.
Researchers expsed 20 adult participants t varius decibels(分貝)f wind farm and rad nise while asleep, and then mnitred physical respnses including bld flw and heart rates as well as sleep awakenings. Althugh asleep, participants reacted t these nises, as fund by the researchers.
Fr example, a 48-decibel(dB)nise, which is quieter than the 50-dB hum f a refrigeratr, was 3.4 times mre likely t cause a change in participants' pulse wave amplitude(脈搏波振幅),which is a measurement that relates t bld flw. Participants' heart rates respnded t the nise as well. After being expsed t a nise f ver 40 dB, they experienced an increase fllwed by a decrease in their heart rates. The study nted that these sund levels are under the recmmended 70 dB limit by the Wrld Health Organizatin.
Physilgical reactins that the study mnitred, such as heart rates and bld flw, may rt in the
prper respnses that may be "ptentially needed t defend against threats during sleep,” researchers said.
Sleep is typically a time fr the bdy t rest and recver, and nise-caused activatin f these cardivascular respnses during sleep may prevent a persn frm getting the prper amunt f healthy sleep they need.
Researchers nted that being expsed t nise pllutin during sleep may increase the risk f cardivascular disease, such as hypertensin, heart disease, and ther harmful health effects. T help reduce the ptential increased health risks caused by frequent nise-caused sleep disturbances, researchers nte that their findings help create public plicies arund nise levels during sleep.

Sct Case, Vice President f the envirnmental marketing firm Terra Chice, was nt happy. Many cnsumers may nt have heard the term greenwashing, but they've surely experienced it-misleading marketing abut the envirnmental benefits f a prduct. B.Launching the Greenwashing Index a website t expse greenwashing.
C.Offering a list f " six sins f greenwashing" fr cmpanies' reference.
D.Updating Green Guide fr cnsumers which hasn't changed since 1998.
34.Which f the fllwing shws NO sign f greenwashing?
A.Organic prducts but withut any certificates.
B.Energy-efficient prducts made f harmful material.
C.Fd which is lw in nutritin but high in calrie.

35.What's the main idea f the passage?
A.The effrt n envirnmental prtectin.
B.The advcatin f green advertisements.
C.The distinctin between green prducts and cmmn nes.
D.The distinctin between real envirnmental claims and false nes.
