Unit 3　Online toursComic strip & Welcome to the unit設(shè)計(jì)說明首先通過觀看一組電腦零部件的圖片導(dǎo)入新課，并學(xué)習(xí)一些有關(guān)電腦主要部件的單詞。根據(jù)所學(xué)的詞匯來談?wù)撾娔X的用途，繼而編成對(duì)話。最后學(xué)習(xí)Comic strip的對(duì)話，講解本課節(jié)的知識(shí)點(diǎn)，然后用一些練習(xí)來鞏固所學(xué)知識(shí)。教學(xué)目標(biāo)通過本課節(jié)的教學(xué)，讓學(xué)生達(dá)成以下目標(biāo)：1.知識(shí)目標(biāo)掌握詞匯：programme, keyboard, unit, main unit, mouse, screen, receive, look like, search for information, send and receive emails2.能力目標(biāo)(1)了解并掌握電腦主要部件的英文名稱；(2)能用英語談?wù)撾娔X的基本用途。3.情感目標(biāo) 通過了解電腦主要部件的英文名稱和基本用途，激發(fā)學(xué)生熱愛學(xué)習(xí)的情感。重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn)1.重點(diǎn)：了解并掌握電腦主要部件的英文名稱。2.難點(diǎn)：能用英語談?wù)撾娔X的基本用途。教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備PPT 課件；相關(guān)圖片；Part B聽力。授課時(shí)數(shù)1課時(shí)教學(xué)過程Step 1　Lead-in 1. Teach new words. Show some pictures and ask: How well do you know a computer?                   screen n. 屏幕                    keyboard n. 鍵盤                                    mouse n. 鼠標(biāo)               main unit n.（電腦）主機(jī)              programme n. 節(jié)目，計(jì)劃，方案 channel n. 頻道 remote control n. 遙控器2. Read and remember the new words. New words: screen, keyboard, mouse (pl. mice或mouses)，main unit, programme, channel, remote controlStep 2　Presentation   1. Learning about computersPart A Annie, Simon’s cousin, wants to learn about the different parts of a computer. Look at the picture below and help her write the correct answers in the boxes. Check the answers with students. keyboard       main unit       mouse       screenAnswers: 1. screen　2. main unit　3. keyboard　4. mouse 2. Think and speak.(1) Ask: What do you usually use your computer for?Present some pictures of different uses of computers.                chat with friends                      play games               send and receive emails                 do word processing                      search for information                watch videos(2) What other things can we use computers for?draw and design write computer programsmake flash… Step 3　Part B1. Listen and answer (1) What does Simon usually use the computer for?(2) How often does Simon use it?Answers: (1) He usually uses it to search for information.　(2) He uses his computer almost every day.2. Read and thinkA: What do you usually use your computer for?B: I usually use it to…A: Why?B: Because …A: How often do you use it to do so?B: I use my computer to…every day.Work in pairs. Make a dialogue by themselves. Use the dialogue above as a model. Then choose some pairs to present their dialogues.        Step 4　Discussion 1. Let’s discuss! What should we know about using computers? Give students 2 minutes to discuss the topic. Then choose some students to share their ideas about the usage of computers. 2. Give a summary about the usage of computers.We must know computers may…(1) do harm to our eyesight.           (2) be harmful to our health.(3) cause us to make bad friends.(4) cost much money.(5) make us give up our study.(6) make us lose interest in other things.3. Teachers’ advice on computers:(1) Don’t be crazy about computer games!(2) Don’t trust strangers online or tell them your personal information!(3) Be sure to do more exercise and live a healthy life!     Step 5　Comic strip 1. Show two pictures about Eddie and Hobo and ask: What are they talking about?       Answer: They are talking about computers.2. Listen and answer more questions.(1) What do Eddie and Hobo think the computer look like?(2) Do you know what “the remote control” really is?Answers: (1) They think it looks like a TV.　(2)It is a mouse.3. Watch, listen and repeat the dialogue between Eddie and Hobo. 4. Read and act the dialogue between Eddie and Hobo. Practice and act out the dialogue in pairs.5. Read and fill in the blanks. Eddie and Hobo see the computer for the first time. They don’t know what it is. Hobo thinks it _______ ________ a _________. And Eddie thinks the mouse is the _______ ________. They think the _________ is boring. So they want to use the mouse to _______ _______ _______. How funny they are!Answers: looks like, TV, remote control, programme, change the channelStep 6　Language points1. online adj. 聯(lián)網(wǎng)的，在線的   online shopping/travelling網(wǎng)購(gòu)/網(wǎng)上旅游 Young people like to chat with online friends.年輕人喜歡和網(wǎng)友聊天。2. agree with sb 同意某人（的意見、觀點(diǎn)、看法等）agree to do sth 同意做某事She agrees with her parents. 她同意她父母的觀點(diǎn)。Lucy agrees to wash her clothes tonight. 露西同意今天晚上洗她的衣服。3. use sth to do sth= use sth for doing sth使用某物做某事It’s fast and easy to use computers to search for/for searching for information. 用電腦搜索信息既快又容易。4. mouse鼠標(biāo)（復(fù)數(shù)：mouses/mice）There are many mouses/mice for you to choose in the shop.商店里有很多鼠標(biāo)供你選擇。5. look/be like 看起來像  It looks like a TV. 它看起來像臺(tái)電視機(jī)。He did not look like an evil person. 他看起來不像一個(gè)惡人。【拓展】look at 看一看 look for 尋找 look after 照顧 look out 留神，當(dāng)心look forward to sth/doing sth期盼某事/做某事6. change  vt. 換　vi. & n.改變，變化Let’s change the channel. 咱們換個(gè)頻道吧。  My hometown has changed a lot in the last few years.=There have been a lot of changes in my hometown in the last few years. 過去幾年里我的家鄉(xiāng)發(fā)生了很多變化。7. send and receive emails收發(fā)郵件  receive vt. 收到，接到I have just received his reply. 我剛剛收到他的回信。【辨析】receive與 accept receive 動(dòng)詞，意為“接到”，指收到某物這一動(dòng)作，不包含主觀上愿意接受的意思。accept 動(dòng)詞，意為“接受”，指經(jīng)過考慮，強(qiáng)調(diào)主觀上愿意接受。I received an invitation to the party yesterday, but I refused to accept it.昨天我接到一份參加晚會(huì)的邀請(qǐng)，但我拒絕接受。【注意】receive是短暫性動(dòng)詞，不能和由since / for引導(dǎo)的短語連用，必須轉(zhuǎn)化成延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞才可以連用。I have received your email. 我已經(jīng)收到了你的郵件。  I have had your email for a few hours. 我收到你的郵件幾小時(shí)了。同樣，hear from sb與receive one’s letter也可以這樣轉(zhuǎn)化。他已經(jīng)收到了你的信。He has received your letter. = He has heard from you.他收到你的信一周了。  He has had your letter for a week.= He has had your letter since last week.Step 7　Homework1.
