The Meredith family lived in a small cmmunity. As the ecnmy was in decline, sme peple in the twn had lst their jbs. Many f their families were struggling t make ends meet. Peple were trying t help each ther meet the challenges.

After their mther left the rm, the children sat thinking abut Bernard. “I wish we culd help him t earn mney.” said Clara. “His family is suffering s much.”
“S d 1,” said Harry. “We really shuld d smething t assist them.”
Fr sme mments, Jhn said nthing, but, suddenly, he sprang t his feet and cried, “I have a great idea! I have a slutin that we can all help accmplish(完成).”
The ther children als jumped up all attentin. When Jhn had an idea, it was sure t be a gd ne. “I tell yu what we can d,” said Jhn. “Yu knw that big bx f cm Uncle Jhn sent us?Well, we can make ppcrn(爆米花), and put it int paper bags, and Bernard can take it arund t the huses and sell it.”

Wylie had a Class-1 license, which allwed him t drive a truck. Since truck drivers are classed as necessary wrkers, he thught if he culd get a chance t deliver necessary medicines t New Brunswick, he might just be able t make the trip happen after all.
Hping fr a miracle, he placed an ad n the ppular netwrk Facebk.
“I knw this is a bit f an dd request but I'm lking fr a class-1 psitin, he wrte. "I am lking fr a rute that will run Halifax t Saint Jhn... I am willing t drive fr free!”
He went n t explain the details f his mm's disease and said he needed t find a way t Saint Jhn, bth legally and as sn as pssible.
Wylie admitted he wasn't expecting a lt f feedback n his pst, but almst at nce, ffers f trucking jbs, financial help — and even smene willing t test as a live liver dnr fr his mm-began streaming in.
The request gt mre than 5,000 shares n Facebk. A medicine cmpany ffered him a chance t drive trucks frm Halifax t Saint Jhn, delivering necessary medicines regularly. They said they wuld prvide him with a pass but he was t get vaccinated and tested fr COVID-19 befre and after making the trip. He was mre than happy t accept it.

“They smile, and sme hug me. It makes their whle day better," said Henry, describing hw children typically react when he hands them a ty bear. He believes each bear inspires a sense f hpe in the receiver.
