Unit 5 Communication Workshop 教材分析:本課是北師大版《初中英語》八年級上冊教材第5單元的Communication Workshop。本單元的話題是Helping,屬于課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)話題8“人際交往”下的子話題“社會行為”。在本單元前三課,圍繞本單元話題,學(xué)生分別學(xué)習(xí)了在社區(qū)做義工、同學(xué)間互相幫助和災(zāi)難前挽救他人生命的同齡人的子話題;并學(xué)習(xí)了提出與應(yīng)答請求,過去進(jìn)行時等語言知識。通過前三課的學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生已經(jīng)進(jìn)行了關(guān)于本單元話題的語言學(xué)習(xí)和初步應(yīng)用,儲備了話題下的相關(guān)知識。Communication Workshop是在單元前三課學(xué)習(xí)基礎(chǔ)上,結(jié)合話題Helping,以及與該話題相關(guān)的語言知識和語言技能,進(jìn)行以寫作為主要形式的語言輸出表達(dá)。本單元寫作圍繞Helping的話題,描寫一日的系列活動,展現(xiàn)活動中的心情和感受。教材呈現(xiàn)了一篇Emma介紹自己最喜歡的歌星來到福利院,共同度過特別一天的文章,是學(xué)生寫作模仿的范文。因此,應(yīng)重點從本課范文中進(jìn)行寫作的學(xué)習(xí),獲得后續(xù)學(xué)生自己寫作的支撐,而非側(cè)重對篇章細(xì)節(jié)的理解和信息的獲取。分析范文,學(xué)生需要從范文中學(xué)習(xí)以下幾個方面:主題:通過描寫一日活動,體現(xiàn)特定的感受、心情或主題,因此活動的選取要為體現(xiàn)主題服務(wù);文體:一日活動是系列事件的描寫,屬于記敘文文體,要有時間、地點、人物和事件等因素,要按照時間順序進(jìn)行描寫;結(jié)構(gòu):為了不使一日活動寫成流水賬,活動的描寫要有詳有略,活動描寫的過程中要展現(xiàn)人物的情緒和感受;語言:一日活動記錄的是過去發(fā)生的事,因此要使用過去時,在描寫過程中要注意合理使用連接詞,加強(qiáng)寫作的連貫與銜接。根據(jù)對教材內(nèi)容的分析,本課計劃分兩課時完成。第一課時,學(xué)生在明確寫作任務(wù)的前提下,學(xué)習(xí)范文的結(jié)構(gòu)、描寫特征和語言,逐步完善自己的構(gòu)思,進(jìn)行初步寫作。第二課時,在學(xué)生自查問題的基礎(chǔ)上,開展同學(xué)互評,關(guān)注語篇意義的表達(dá)、銜接與連貫(特別是邏輯方面)和語言表達(dá),在修改后成稿。本課的寫作內(nèi)容是幫助他人,學(xué)生要在寫作過程中關(guān)注幫助他人的感受與心情,進(jìn)而體現(xiàn)寫作的主題。寫作過程本身也是學(xué)生感知幫助他人進(jìn)而愉悅自身的過程。學(xué)情分析:本課的授課對象是北京市示范中學(xué)八年級中等水平的學(xué)生。他們思維比較活躍、樂于參與課堂活動,具有一定的詞匯和語法基礎(chǔ)。在寫作上,學(xué)生能夠?qū)σ话阍掝}進(jìn)行簡單的表達(dá),但在內(nèi)容的豐富性和邏輯性上可能存在一定的困難,是教學(xué)過程要重點解決的內(nèi)容。本學(xué)期學(xué)生剛參加過愛心活動,因此不缺乏寫作內(nèi)容,但如何進(jìn)行合理組織,以避免寫成流水賬是學(xué)習(xí)的難點。授課教師:教學(xué)目標(biāo):在本課學(xué)習(xí)結(jié)束時,學(xué)生能夠:1. 根據(jù)寫作任務(wù)需要,在范文中發(fā)現(xiàn)作者要體現(xiàn)的主題,以及體現(xiàn)主題的方式;2. 擬定主題,構(gòu)思寫作提綱,初步完成一篇走進(jìn)社區(qū)敬老院的作文;3. 通過完成寫作任務(wù),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回憶幫助他人、收獲快樂的感受。教學(xué)重點:根據(jù)寫作任務(wù)需要,找出范文表達(dá)的主題和表達(dá)主題的方法;學(xué)習(xí)范文的語言表達(dá);列出合理的寫作提綱。教學(xué)難點:合理安排寫作的結(jié)構(gòu),體現(xiàn)寫作主題。教學(xué)過程:教學(xué)步驟教學(xué)活動設(shè)計意圖ReviewingReview the topic of the unitSs review the topic of Unit5 and get to know the task by answering questions.Qs: Do you still remember the title of this unit?What can you do to help others?What do you feel when you help others?復(fù)習(xí)本單元話題,導(dǎo)入學(xué)生的已知,在已知的基礎(chǔ)上不斷圍繞單元話題進(jìn)行知識與技能的建構(gòu)。Pre-writingUnderstand the taskTask:北京十二中英文校園雜志要宣傳“慈善義工社”走進(jìn)社區(qū)敬老院的活動。作為志愿者之一,請你向雜志社投稿,以A/An _________ Day為主題,寫一篇短文,向讀者介紹你在敬老院的活動及感受。字?jǐn)?shù)不少于60詞。1.
