【句式拓展】(1)表示“建議做某事”,英語(yǔ)通常用 suggest ding sth,而不能用 suggest t d sth。He suggested ging by plane,but I thught it wuld cst t much.他建議坐飛機(jī)去,可我認(rèn)為這樣花費(fèi)太大。Tm suggested selling the huse but Ann was against it.湯姆建議把房子賣了,但是安表示反對(duì)。
(2)表示“建議某人做某事”,不能說 suggest sb t d sth,而說suggest sb’s /sb ding sth。也就是說,suggest 后不僅不接不定式,而且也不接不定式的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)。He suggested us leaving earlier.他建議我們?cè)琰c(diǎn)動(dòng)身。The teacher suggested yur ging ver the lessns.老師建議你復(fù)習(xí)功課。
(3)suggest 表示“建議”時(shí),后接的 that 從句謂語(yǔ)通常用“(shuld)+動(dòng)詞原形”這樣的虛擬語(yǔ)氣形式。若suggest 表示“暗示”“意指”“表明”等,則其后接的 that 從句要用陳述語(yǔ)氣。What he said suggested that he was a cheat.他說的話表明他是個(gè)騙子。Are yu suggesting that I’m nt suited fr the jb?你的意思是說我不適合做這工作?(4)suggest后不能接雙賓語(yǔ),即不能用suggest sb sth,而通常用suggest sth t sb或suggest t sb suggested t him that we shuld tackle the prblem in anther way.我向他建議,我們應(yīng)該用另一種方法處理這個(gè)問題。
