Anne, a yung rphan frm the fictinal cmmunity f Blingbrke, is sent t Prince Edward Island after a childhd spent in strangers' hmes and rphanages. Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, siblings in their fifties and sixties, had decided t adpt a by frm the rphanage t help Matthew run their farm. They live at Green Gables, their Avnlea farmhuse n Prince Edward Island. Thrugh a misunderstanding, the rphanage sends Anne Shirley. The nvel recunts hw Anne makes her way with the Cuthberts, in schl and within the twn.

After reading this article,I think it’s a wnderful wrk.The authr used her clean smth,vivid and humrus style t tell us a stry abut a pure kindness , lvely herine : Anne shirley.This is a stry abut friendship,respnsibility and lve.Anne is a tragic girl,but she is als ptimistic and utging.
In writing the nvel, Mntgmery was inspired by ntes she had made as a yung girl, abut a cuple wh were mistakenly sent an rphan girl instead f the by they had requested yet decided t keep her. She drew upn her wn childhd experiences in rural Prince Edward Island. Mntgmery used a phtgraph f?Evelyn Nesbit?as the mdel fr the face f Anne Shirley, which she had clipped frm New Yrk’s?Metrplitan Magazine?and put n the wall f her bedrm.
Mntgmery was als inspired by the "frmula Ann" rphan stries which were ppular at the time and distinguished her character by spelling her name as "Anne." She based ther characters such as?Gilbert Blythe?in part n peple she knew. She said that she wrte the nvel in the twilight f the day, while sitting at her windw and verlking the fields f?Cavendish.
