Step 1. Take ut ne picture f yur freign friend and shw it t the students. Say: “This is my pen pal. He lives in the U. S. nw. I ften write letters t him. What is he like? D yu want t have pen pals, t?”
The students will be very happy t have pen pals. Then let them chse ne frm the names and dresses f the freigners.
Step 2. Listen t the wrds f this lessn. Let the students read after it fr several times until they have crrect prnunciatin and intnatin.
Step 3. Listen t the tape and answer the fllwing questins:
