A special exhibitin (展覽會) titled Life Is a Sng---Wan Tngshu and Xinjiang Uygur Muqam Art (木卡姆藝術(shù)) was held frm August 23 t 27 in Aksu, Xinjiang. Thrugh pictures, sunds, and ther frms, it was held t remember the Chinese musician Wan Tngshu because he helped prtect Uygur Muqam art. Xingjiang Uygur Muqam art mixes sngs, dances and flk and classical music. Fr its cultural value. Xinjiang Uygur Muqam art was included as ne f UNESCO’s Masterpieces f Oral and Intangible Heritage f Humanity (人類口頭和非物質(zhì)遺產(chǎn)代表作) in 2005.
