One f the mst cmmn reasns why yu lk unnatural in phts is an increased awareness (意識) f yur appearance. The wrry abut psture, hair, and makeup can add t the stress, killing the chances f a real smile. A smile lks best when it cmes naturally. Warm and welcming smiles cme alng with warm and welcming bdy language, but when yu’re in frnt f the camera, trying t hard t perfrm can make yur bdy language appear stiff (僵硬的) and far frm welcming.

In the early 1900s, Austrian scientist Karl Vn Frisch discvered the “waggle dance” f hney bees. They dance t cmmunicate where t find fd shwing an advanced frm f cmmunicatin. Perry made the test easier r harder by mving the landing spts further frm r clser t the black bar. Perry fund that bees avided difficult tests and tried when it was easy, suggesting they can judge (判斷) their chances f “passing”.
This ability t make decisins accrding t their chances f success befre is similar t hw humans chse whether t take a test. Hwever, Perry admits we can’t be sure if bees are truly judging by their wn knwledge r just aviding an unpleasant taste.
Althugh there is much uncertainty, the discvery f metacgnitin in bees pens up new pssibilities. It suggests that bees’ tiny brains may be quite capable (有能力的). It culd be that skills such as simple math and navigatin take far less actual brainpwer than we thught. While bees aren’t as smart as mammals in memry and language, studying their brains culd help us understand hw ur wn brains prcess infrmatin.
