The “prm” is nt just an American traditin thugh mst peple believe that it started in America. In Canada, the event is called a “frmal”. In Britain and Australia, the ld-fashined wrd “dance” is mre and mre ften being referred t as a “prm”, and fr final schl year students in all these cuntries, this event is the highlight f the schl year, just as it is in the USA. Mst cuntries have sme frms f celebratin when students finish high schl. After all, it marks the end f life as a child, and the beginning f life as an adult.
“Prm” is expensive t rganize and the tickets can cst the students a lt f mney. The traditin is that students themselves have t raise the mney t pay fr it. In sme American schls, student unins save fr the event fr the fur years they spend in high schl.
