Three mnths after turning furteen,my life was great.I was getting settled int a high schl;my grades were already starting ff greatly and I was making friends.One day as I came hme frm schl,I walked int ur living rm,finding my mm and dad talking.My parents turned t me and tld me t sit dwn because there was smething imprtant they had t tell me.I sn fund ut that my dad’s liver (肝臟) was failing and he needed an immediate transplant.I was shcked and cnfused.He was wrking and never lked sick.My parents tld me nt t wrry because everything wuld be fine.Fur mnths had passed and my dad still had nt received a new liver;he was prgressively getting wrse.His bdy seemed t be getting weaker,but he cnstantly said he was fine.
It was getting hard fr my family and me.My dad had t quit his jb leaving my mm t be the nly prvider.I had t take n the respnsibility f cleaning the huse,cking meals and checking n my dad while my mm was at wrk.I had t cut back n hanging with my friends because my dad was beginning t g in and ut f the hspital.My fcus fr schl was starting t slip.S were my grades.Tw nights befre my schl spring break,my mm received a call frm the hspital that my dad had been in a car accident and that he was in hspital.Surprisingly,my dad hadn’t received a scratch n him.Then next night my mm received a call frm the dctr stating that there was a liver that matched my dad’s bdy and that he needed t get t the hspital immediately.
