主語從句和表語從句
主語從句在主句中充當(dāng)主語，可以分為3類：
1. 由從屬連詞that、whether、if引導(dǎo)
主語從句在句首時(shí)，不能用if，只能用whether。
That she survived the accident is a miracle.
Whether we will hld a party tmrrw depends n the weather.
2. 由連接代詞wh、whm、whse、which、what、whever、whatever等引導(dǎo)
Whever breaks the law shuld be punished.
3. 由連接副詞when、where、why、hw引導(dǎo)
Where the test will be given is nt yet decided.
為了避免主語部分過于冗長，導(dǎo)致句子頭重腳輕，通常使用it作為形式主語，而主語從句放在后面作為真正的主語。
It is certain that she will d well in her exam.
It is cmmn knwledge that the whale is nt a fish.
It was reprted that the US was under the terrrist attack.
表語從句又叫主語補(bǔ)語從句，在主句中充當(dāng)表語，位于系動(dòng)詞之后。
與主語從句類似，表語從句也可以用從屬連詞、連接代詞、連接副詞引導(dǎo)。
The fact is that we have lst the game.
This is what I want t tell yu.
The questin is hw he did it.
reasn作主語或why引導(dǎo)的主語從句作主語時(shí)，表語從句用that引導(dǎo)，不用because。
The reasn is that he gt up late.
Why he is absent is that he gt up late.
表語從句that is because...強(qiáng)調(diào)原因，that is why...強(qiáng)調(diào)結(jié)果。
I was angry. That was because he didn’t understand me.
That is why she failed t pass the exam.
That is the reasn why she failed t pass the exam.
* 上面的例句為定語從句，注意與表語從句的區(qū)別。序號(hào)
